The best club in Scotland, Glasgow's The Arches will be closed from Jan to March next year. The club tell us "The Arches is closing in January and February due to improvement works above us in Central Station. We'll re-open in March with all the clubs returning as normal then." "The clubs are all moving elsewhere for this period - we're just confirming everything now so that I can give you accurate info on what is going where." We'll let you know more as we hear it.
Tomorrow night is Friday 13th! There's no need to cower under your duvet though. The Mixmag Tour is coming to Stealth in Nottingham with a line-up of such magnitude, the only person who should be scared is working on crowd-control. Tomorrow night Zane Lowe, Kissy Sellout, Jack Beats, Evil Nine, Jaymo & Andy George, IAM One, Crystal Fighters (Live) and DJ Fu & The Jungle Drummer will all be playing from 10pm til 5am. As a little incentive we've got Jack Beats ‘Get Down’ as a free download for you plus this Crystal Fighters remix. We hope you like the tracks and if you're in the midlands (and not a scaredy cat) tomorrow, come and join us for what should be a sonic spectacle.
Goodgreef is of course celebrating its ninth birthday this month with a huge party at Nation in Liverpool on Saturday November 21. On the night you'll find John O'Callghan, Guisepe Ottaviani, Menno de Jong, Jordan Suckley, Lisa Lashes, Zany, Mark EG, Organ Donors plus a host of Future Heroes.
