Facilities at Pafiliwn Bont
Pafiliwn Bont’s location, size and facilities allow us to provide a service that meets a wide range of requirements. The pavilion’s central location ensures it is within a 2 hour journey from Caernarfon in the north or Cardiff from the south, and about 25 minutes from Aberystwyth and Lampeter.
Once you have reached us there is free parking on-site for up to 300 cars and 20 coaches, ensuring that you won’t have to worry about getting a ticket and allowing you to put your mind to your work-or enjoying yourself.
Bar and Foyer
The Bar and Foyer are located at the front of the Pafiliwn building. They can be used as a resource together or separately. The Foyer is the welcoming area of the venue, the area that creates the first impression. The foyer is licensed and can therefore be used for all sorts of activities. The Bar is located exactly above the Foyer and is a comfortable environment to relax before and after performances. It is licensed for 150 people and is an ideal venue for small performances. It is possible to hire the Bar and Foyer together or separately. Auditorium
This is the buildings’ main resource and the perfect venue for any large events. The Auditorium is licensed for 2200 people standing.It is also possible to vary the size of the Auditorium for smaller audiences. Traditionally, the Auditorium has been used for staging concerts, eisteddfodau and gigs, but by now it is also perfect for trade shows; sporting events and activities; large banquets; and theatre - in fact, it is such a large and flexible room, it can be used for almost anything. The size of the Auditorium, along with the new flat floor, also means it makes a perfect studio for TV companies. A number of production companies have already used the Pafiliwn and have stated that the facilities were perfect for their needs.
Back Stage Area
The Auditoriums’ back-stage area contains all the resources expected in a professional entertainment venue, but like the rest of the building it is also a flexible area that can be used for various activities.
There are a number of professional dressing rooms, toilet and shower facilities as well as the large “green room” which can hold aroud 100 people. As with the Bar and Foyer, the green room can be hired for smaller events such as film showings, training workshops or smaller gigs and concerts. Link to virtual tour...
