Moderator Icon

Moderator
Moderators are users who've volunteered their own time in help maintaining the site. As the site grows, as does the amount work needed to maintain it.

There are 3 moderator statuses:

Discussions moderator -> Photo+Discussions moderator -> Event+Photo+Discussions moderator

Event moderator - has the ability to modify brands, events and venues users have added to the site. Ensuring the details are correct and up to date.

NEWS: We have recently recruited a few more event moderators to handle the huge number of events you lot regularly add to the site. For further details click here.

Photo moderator - has the ability to approve photos users have uploaded. Photo's on the site is not visible to non-admin/mod users until it is approved by a photo moderator.

Discussions moderator - has the ability to delete posts by non-admin/mod users in the discussion forums they deem inappropriate for the site (such as ones containing explicit, racist and/or abusive content).

The moderator status of any moderator can bee seen in his/her profile page.

User Icon

New user
Any user that has been on the site for less than 2 months has this icon.

Regular -> Superuser
The regular icon shows the high level of activity of the user on the site and the superuser icon shows the high level of contibution from the user (such as uploading articles, reviews, galleries, events and venues) to the site.

Any user who gains the superuser icon losses his/her regular icon as superuser is considered the next level up from regular.

The more people a spotter or a pro spotter introduced to DontStayIn (i.e. has spotted), the more stars he/she has on the icon.

Any user may only be either a spotter or a pro spotter at any given time.

Other Icons

Donated
Any user that has donated £5 or more to DontStayIn gains this icon.

Chatterbox
Any user that has posted a significant amount of messages in live chat gains this icon.
