im really sorry but i hardly ever post anything nasty on here or put a club down.

i came down to see the old master slipmatt, and got a coach down there where i payed 8 quid for the journey and then a tenna on the door.

now im a 24 year old girl who wanted to go to a rave, yes for the most part i had fun, met lots of new people, im new to kent, so getting the coach was ideal, then when i go to leave i hear there are no coaches that they had been canclled what the fucking fuck, im 50 miles from home, spaced off my tits with no way of getting home, i think its down right dirty, i dont know who the promoters were but i think its down right disgraceful, there were people from eltham that i hooked up with on the walk home, also there 3/4 guys from folkestone and dover whgo couldnt get home.

if u pay for sommin you are supposed to get it. the back room was so cold, i stayed till the bitter and it was fucking bitter end as i only saw 15 mins of sharkey, what the fuck was that about i saw a dj who was on at the end in thr back room in a massive duffle coat all night it was that cold, doesa subtronic treat all there djs and clubbers like that ( hey lets keep everyone freezing) and i think it was all night through out the club this was happening i saw another , poor guy so cold he was actually blue on his hands it was that cold inn the back room, then i saw that tony duzzit one of the djs who i also went to see, get carried out by a door man, what a joke, one of ur djs getting kicked out by the bouncers.

it wasnt that busy so maybe the promoters didnt make enough money to pay the staff, djs, or the coaches if this is right, then take a good long hard look at ur selves and never ever put anything on again, i thinks totally out of order subtronic dance to get a harcore night tour to come to your place then treat people like that, i am a personal friend of some of the nu energy guys and will def be putting the word out to what has happened here, u just dont do this.

also then to find no running drinking water which is a legal requirement, i told my boyfriend who works for the health and safty standards agency about this and he is putting in a fomal complaint,

i will def be doing a write up not only on dsi but also other clubbing websites to tell how much of a joke this was.

it was good to see billy bunter and spenno havent seen u 2 in ages, was great to catch up, also orpheus, i love his handbag hard house, keep it coming mr colourful hair.

Well, to be fair there was a designated smoking area to the back of the club (hence the coldness of the venue, the door was kept open all night!) - so she was lucky to get out the front at all. To my knowledge it was crew and DJs only allowed out of that entrance for cigarettes.

And I think you would find that every venue would operate on the same policy as well - you try leaving Koko or The Fridge "for a smoke" and get back in without a search!

I THINK THIS IS DISGUSTING!!! i have been going to lydd for years and NEVER EVER have i seen so much disrespect for ravers. This used to be a kind hearted local banging club where everything was perfect to the temperature, toilets, staff and ravers. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED. it seems to me that the once banging club at lydd has had its time. SUBTRONIC more like SUBZERO. i am a MASSIVE fan of hardcore and have always wanted a hardcore rave closer to home rather than travelling for hours to see sharkey, but i would rather travel to the ends of the earth than attend another SUBZERO event. TOTAL disater and total lack of thought for us, if the venue isnt right then dont use it! simple as. The water situation is unbelieveable, surly a desperate attempt to put more money behind the bar (we know your game subtronic) that is unacceptable as raves arnt about the money, they are about the feeling, the vibe and the warmness (or not in this case) that you get from all the different people and banging tunes.
I am not one to slag off an event as i am aware how much prep goes into them and it is hard work. But if you say you are going to provide travel for ravers then DO IT. i am totally disgusted that more than one person had to WALK home from a club in the middle of nowhere! A 24 year old girl walking home is DANGEROUS and if something had happened to her then who would be to blame. SUB FUCKING ZERO THATS WHO

Travelling from broadstairs to lydd is a long way and to be treated like that is fucking unacceptable

£4.00 for a beer is crazy!! But I guess they've got a captive audience haven't they - it's not like you can just wander down the road and go somewhere else for a beer!

what a waste of time money and total lack of respect, yes i asked a man not too sure who he was, he had blondish hair and orange trousers, right at end of night and he just said sorry there are no caches and we have no way of getting people back, @you can you a phone@ to call a cab if you want, sorry but i wasnt expecting to keep 80 quid in my pocket for a taxi, he said thats how it is, he did say he was sorry, but its shit really shit.

i saw a post by afc saying that people were being offered lifts home, so when u were driving past people and see people walking along those streets, where were the lifts then, pah, disfuckingusting.

Everyone invloved in this night, subtronic (subzero lol, love it fulffy) lydd heron club need taking down its fucking thursday ahd im still reeling, well i am ill from having a stinker of a cold and not bein able to work cause having to walk home in the cold. so thats why i am on here lol.

Hi djs-mate, i'm so sorry to hear about your experience, i can really sympathise with you, having been in a similar situation myself at lydd many years ago, when i was stuck there in winter for nearly 6 hours at that place. It is the worse place you wanna be stuck without a lift home. I'm not sure the reasons why the coach was cancelled, i know numbers were low on the coach so either the coach company cancelled or the promoter, but i was told that all people on the coach were sorted for a lift home. If i had known that was not the case i would of got my other half to have driven back to lydd and picked you guys up. I don't know why the promoter has not been on here yet, i was told he would be putting a message up. He does work away sometimes, so that could be why.

hi clare, thanks for the message, i can guarentee you that no lifts were sorted by like i said before some guy in orange trousers did say he could lend me his phone to call a cab, there were about 3 lads from folkestone who had to pay out 45 quid for a taxi, then there was me that paid 80 quid out for a taxi, the others i dont know about, but im sure they were walking home cause of no transport either, it is pretty disgusting and its not down to a dj (you) to have to come on here to do the explaining, it should be the promoters who ever they are
