Well that’s another new town ventured to and a very pleasant evening it was to. Despite the mere fact that it took us a bloody age to get out of Margate due to one reason or another and to find that the satnav couldn’t take us to the door due to roadwork’s we all managed to get there full of enthusiasm and raring to go.

Due to our later than scheduled arrival Mark Dickson, guest on this night, had to contend with the early slot. May I thank Mark for this, the fact that he dutifully did this without duress makes me respect him even more lol ;-) I solid performance of good quality house tunes completed professionally before getting wankered, well done my friend.

This is the first outing of all four main GH DJ’s for quite sometime so it was nice to see the guys back in front on a new crowd. Phil good picked up from Dicko seamlessly and considering the gap since I last heard him play it seems nothing has changed, no nervousness, no jitters, and nigh on perfect flow of some great tracks. No explosion of the most massive current tracks just a good mix of all things “Good” suitably blended at the end to hand over to Ian Garner.

Good Job Garner remembered to bring his carts otherwise he would have been skuppered lol. That was the first obstacle and the second was that he had one perfectly fine 1210 and then a vastly inferior Numark. Not fazed by this Garner got to work to carry on pleasing what was now a very respectable gathering in the venue. Mr G had recently splashed out on various new vinyl electro mixes of some classic trance tracks and last night was a perfect time to air them. With a crowd that you are uncertain of this was a bold decision. Good decision though as they all seemed to go down a treat. There were a couple of very active dancers on the floor who had on more than one occasion come close to inflicting what looked like a few Karate Kid moves on some poor unsuspecting drinkers. Bless em they were enjoying the moment and so they should . Nice one Fructis good solid performance to a packed floor.

Frenchie up as number 3 to splash his blend of dirt and filth upon a poor unsuspecting Ashford posse ;-). “Who gives a fuck about DJ’s”, who indeed? We do and fortunately Mandy had returned from her nicotine break to catch her current fave track. Seemed to be liked by everyone else too by the look of things. This is when you really do need a full on banging system and I have to say that those speakers tht surrounded the dance area coped with the phat bass lines that Frenchie enjoys. True to form one minor missed beat in a mix resounded in the usual barrage of jeers from us all, it’s always nice to know that we all hear at the same time and Frenchie receives the same response lol. Big up Sir Paul French, that Funktion System is going to love you in 2 weeks times.

Last up the inimitable Robbie Styles. Animated and spot perfect as ever. A fine choice of tuneage to fire out the end of the night. Good to see Styles behind the decks again and in a venue outside of the humdrum of Thanet. Good to see a smile of those chops Robster. I have to say that the track that seemed to go down the best was your own one. “Just Plain Rude” has to be your best production yet and it sounded great loud. There were still a good few in the house come closing and most didn’t really want to go home, including Karate Kid.

A successful night all round me thinks. Thanks to the DJ’s, those tht came up with us, Mark Dickson for allowing us to hijack his usual Friday night slot, Three-Zero management, bar staff and friendly door staff. We hope to return very soon.

Had a fab time, rather too many LARGE Vodka & cokes, so suffering most of Saturday. Cheers to Mr Dickson for putting up with us, I thought you wanted to get back on the decks later.... but maybe you was to battered by then. Great to see everybody again, hopefully it won't be to long this time,,, maybe the 12th April for Fierce Angel,,, Woop Woop!!!!

Yeah i did want 2 get back on Robbie but i sat wiv my head in my hands and thought long and hard and decided it was best that i didn't as i was so fucking pissed!! LOL Thanks GH crew it was a good nite!! Roll on the 12th!!!!!!

Great lil venue with an up for it crowd... wickid. Am sure it was the lime put in my carona's that gave me the headache to contend with the following morning
