We have a great line-up announced for quite possibly Odyssey's biggest event so far...

We have teamed up with Sheffield based Trance4mation and a few of their residents will be coming down to show us how to really do it!!!

Also we have very special guest Davey Asprey coming along to join the show.

Full line-up:
Davey Asprey (Judgement Sundays, Nu:PaSSion, Excessive Pressure)
Johan Van Bukken (Trance4mation, Rompastomp)
J4RV (Trance4mation)
Ricky Smith (Odyssey)
JakeDC (Odyssey/Electric Odyssey)

And as usual folks this event is absolutely FREE ENTRY all night!!! And with drinks at very reasonable prices you really can't go wrong with this spectacular event.

Davey Asprey is a young, refreshing and enthusiastic DJ who has appeared on the trance scene of late. He showed a great interest in music from a very young age, listening to New Wave and Acid House in the early 90’s. His passion for EDM evolved, luring him to the white isle of Ibiza in 2004 & back again in 2005.

Davey has been influenced by some of the best trance DJ’s to come out of Europe, such as Marcel Woods, Sander Van Doorn, Richard Durand & Marco V. The moment that Davey’s DJing passion was conceived, was whilst watching the one and only Eddie Halliwell - who is still his number one rated DJ to this day.

In fact, Davey was so influenced by Eddie Halliwell, that after seeing him play he decided to take the next step forward and buy his own decks. His first appearance was at Nailed (Leicester) in 2006; following this he secured residencies across the UK. In 2007, just two years after starting his DJing career, Davey was making his debut on the white isle known as Ibiza.

Since then, Davey has been proving himself to be a DJ of great diversity, playing not only Trance, but Tech Trance, Techno, Tech House, House & Electro. The summer of 2008 saw him playing alongside one of the legends of the dance scene, Judge Jules, at the Monkey Run, Derbyshire.

Davey now boasts a fantastic list of appearances alongside the likes of Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, John O’Callaghan, Lisa Lashes, Richard Durand, Gareth Emery, Paul Webster, Ali Wilson, JFK, Genix, Jordan Suckley, Vicky Devine, Tylor Leigh, David Forbes, Claudia Cazacu, NuSense & Krafty Kuts to name a few.

The summer of 2008 proved to be a busy one for Davey, securing gigs at places such as the VW festival & at the one & only Judgement Sundays in Ibiza, where he played alongside Lisa Lashes, Richard Durand, Vicky Devine, Krafty Kuts and of course, Judge Jules. Videos of his performance and Interview with Vicky Devine are not to be missed!

When the summer came to an end, Davey did a follow up to the summer showcase mix of 2007 which is getting rave reviews from the likes of Judge Jules, Jordan Suckley & Mr. Sam to name a few, which led to gigs at Cream in Birmingham & to finish off 2008 with a bang, Davey rang in the New Year for Gatecrasher at the Syndicate in Bristol alongside John 00 Fleming, JFK & Paul Webster.

With no time spent relaxing, January 2009 saw Davey take to the decks on New Year’s Day playing a House set in Gatecrasher’s Hyper Club & the Last EVER B2T/Funkdeluxe at Subway City in Birmingham as well as headlining Amplified in Derby who he is now Resident for. Davey is also set to play for Passion’s 14th Birthday leading in the Nu Passion DJ’s alongside Ferry Corsten & John O’Callaghan.

If that wasn’t enough this summer will also see his Ukrainian Debut as well as plans to go into production of his own tracks. His exhausting schedule is a testament to the hard work that has seen his career climb from strength to strength over the last few years..

Quotes from DJ's / Producers / Promoters about Davey Asprey:

‘Keep an eye out for this fella’ - Judge Jules (Radio 1, Judgement Sundays)

'Davey Asprey seems to be a DJ to keep an eye on! Great track selection's, fluid mixes makes him a new rising star' - Mr. Sam / Mojado (Black Hole Recordings, Magik Muzik)

‘Davey Asprey has played to the crowd at every party he’s done for us. His technical skills and choice of music have been superb and he’s proved a great hit with the Peachy Ravers. After hearing him play at various parties locally, and seen him “wowing” the crowd in Ibiza, we decided to invite him to become a Peach resident. We can’t wait to have him along side some of the worlds most established trance DJ’s in 2009. Having a gift of spotting great talent since the start, Peach has high hopes for Davey in the future.’ - Peach Club Ltd 2008

‘When I heard a set of Davey Asprey for the first time is was reminded of the energy I felt when Mark Spoon was rocking the crowed at the famous Dorian Gray Club in Frankfurt. He is young, talented, and devoted to take the clubworld by storm. Have his name on the list.’ - Jam El Mar [Jam & Spoon] (Techno Legends, Perfecto, Sony Music Entertainment)

Johan Van Bukken is one of those DJ's that can get any crowd going and if you have seen him play then you will know what I mean!!

His mix of uplifting tracks blended with driving basses create the perfect setting for any crowd, taking you on a journey into music with his sublime mixing and energetic performances behind the decks its not hard to see why he is becoming a favourite with the crowds!!

In 2008 he has been booked for nights such as Trance4mation, Vaccinate, Paws and Rompastomp playing with names like Jon O'Bir, Matt Everson, Ben Nicky, Neil Bamford & Tidy DJ's with booking's at Excessive Pressure, Odyssey & Insomniacz pre-party in the future will see him play with names like Mat Zo, Steve Allen, Davey Asprey & Oli Wilson.

This looks like the year when things are going to take off for this guy so keep you eye's and ears out for this rising star as he follow's his dream to be a household name and one of the suprise DJ's of the year!!

Johan is now studying music technology and is set to release his own tunes in 2010 with the dream of owning his own label someday and the way this guy is going his dream should turn to reality soon...

Johan has been DJ-ing now for 15 years and as you can see from the passion he puts into his music that he is going to around for a very long time!!!

These two superb DJ's will be introduced by some fantastic warm up sets by J4RV, Ricky Smith and JakeDC.
