after a four year break future funk returned to time to celebrate what would have been their 10th birthday. their birthday celebrations brought together a mix of clubbers old and new and what a birthday bash it was!!!

those of us that were there back in the day knew exactly what to expect from the lads and were eagerly anticipating a trip down memory lane to recapture the emotion,vibe and energy that made future funk one of the best clubbing nights in north wales. we certainly weren't disappointed!!! the lads nailed it and gave new clubbers a taste of what clubbing used to be like.

classic future funk tunes got us all on the dancefloor working up a sweat from start to finish. one of the highlights for me, of which there were many, was hearing 'waterman' olav basoski, what a tune!!! the crowd erupted, bouncing around with hands in the air, dj's included.

a crying shame it all finished way too early at 2am. all of us sweaty clubbers could have easily gone on for another hour (if not more) and would still have been begging for more more more.

this night was a runaway success which clearly shows that future funk has been greatly missed by many of us and that there is still a demand for pure classic funky house music.

its good to hear that you had such a good night mate. Believe me, we enjoyed it too.
it was also good to see so many new (and young)faces amongst the crowd, it gives me proof that our kind of music is in demand.

Saturday saw a lot of classics played, quite rightly so! but i would not like to be labled in the future as a 'classics night' so if we were to do more Future Funk's then we would look at taking it forward as we always did.

All i can say at the moment is i am looking at another one, but we will not be getting into monthly promotions, as you might remember we were doing about 3-4 a month and this took its toll on us, the music, the production and most importantly the scene.
