On Saturday October 10th Bass Instinct touches down in Time (Bangor) once again for the ultimate fresher’s party.
Headlining the event will be none other than drum & bass chart toppers PENDULUM. They will be playing a two hour DJ set featuring MC Jakes, This is a North Wales exclusive set from the international superstars.

Pendulum are arguably the biggest drum & bass band around right now, The past few years has seen there unique DnB/rock sound crossover to the mainstream enjoying top 40 chart success with tracks ‘Slam’ and ‘Propane Nightmares’ even hitting the top 5.
Pendulum’s 2008 album titled ‘In Silico’ mirrored the success of there singles this gained them massive recognition and scored them a huge global fan base. Pendulum then sparked off there own sell out UK tour it also seen them headlining the biggest festivals in the UK including Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Wireless, Reading/Leeds to name just a few.
Pendulum will be playing a two hour DJ set which features MC Jakes for those who haven’t seen this truly awesome show its quiet simply a must. Supporting them will be crowd favourite DJ Killa, Hoax and Basement Crew’s “Basement Bros” will also be getting the party going with there big room sound and Bass Instinct Magazine’s very own Ads Lehane who will be kicking things off in some style.

Arena 2 will play host to local Dubstep event Locked Sound System. Locked have assembled a mouthwatering line-up of North Wales based talent to get Dubstep fans exited. It includes mash up hero Jay Robinson, His productions have gained serious club support and regular Radio 1 plays from the likes of Annie Mac and Kissy Sell Out making him one to watch out for the future. Other DJ’s joining him will feature the very best out of Bangor’s Dubstep community they include Mole, Netics, Go-Cat DJ’s, Akuma, Maff C and Deficit this completing a very tasty musical line-up for the evening.

Other attractions will include thunderous sound systems kitted out in both arenas, State of the art lighting and the stage dancers.
