Just to let everyone know the dubstep room has been pulled at the Bassline Smith event in Hendre on the 23rd due to noise complaints.

There's still plenty of other stuff going on and it's bound to be an awesome night so be sure to show your support for the local scene. There might be some dubstep goings-on on the 24th but not 100% sure.

I'm gonna get onto sorting a dedicated dubstep night so watch this space.

I started this thread to make people aware that the listed Movement & Subculture Dubstep room would not be going ahead as advertised. I have invested a huge amount of time and effort to let any and everybody who's into dubstep know about the event and what to expect; a dedicated dubstep room showcasing an eclectic, bass heavy journey from roots dub to the filthiest dubstep rollers.

It was never my intention to host a "chilled" or "ambient" room. Perhaps I didn't make that clear enough. I just assumed you knew what Dubstep was all about.

I'm disappointed that our personal disagreement has been brought into the public eye. We're both old enough to know better.

I even thought a bit of light hearted humor might have broken the ice.... got that one wrong too.

yeah man. will be an awesome night, I've been looking forward to it for months. I think I'm gonna keep my distance though. worried about my ego not fitting through the through the door (or even the gates!) now that would be embarrassing.
