If you were absent last month, don't worry! We're back once again on Fri 27th 8 til late @Rascals, with a killa line-up of proper home grown talent, plus a ::definition newcomer keen to flex like that! VENOM (Headline set): We're leaving the headline slot in the very capable hands of ::definition's esteemed DJ Venom. You know his style, you've heard the mixtapes everyone's talking about, prepare yourselves for some bass-heaviness as Mr Venom flips some tricks for your eyes only. DJ Venom started out as a live scratch DJ, but his influences extend beyond hip hop as he pays homage both to deep soulful and reggae-influenced D'n'B, reggae/dub, jungle and the bassiest dubstep around. His skills lie in his ability to push boundaries and mash things up good and proper. See you at the front for this! HOAX: Representing the deeper side of D'n'B, ::definition's very own producer DJ will be gracing us with a very special set which will include some of his new studio collaborations with Erbman Hustlin under Digital Organix, plus some of his solo tracks. Hoax's influences include many of the great & good of real D'n'B including Calibre, ZeroT, Alix Perez - we just know he's going to pull out some beautiful sounds for us on the night! MOLE: We at ::definitionHQ are pleased indeed to be presenting a new face for ::definition. Mole hails from sunny Jersey, currently enjoying the Bangor student experience (Hmmm), he will be playing a heady mix of dubstep and hiphop for us - Wub Wub Wub!
