Was nice to see the passion's not died
Sorry Guy's camera cocked up on this one so no pics but a general review of the venue and night is here:

VENUE: holds a max of 220 pax which over the 2 floors seems somewhat a small amount, however with the size of some of the sparkly white trainers allowed.....(ummmm) it did fill up eventually. Split into two rooms with the fantastic old schoolers downstairs the dresser bunch (old stylies) did remain downstairs where as the Bassline Heavies (19yr old kids in caps and baggy jeans!!!) tended to remain upstairs with the heaver beats and newer tunes... Smoking was like the Kyrpton factor assult course up 3 flights of stairs and up some invisible secret platforms to a small little outdoor area which of course was down some stairs.... Crikey..I managed about one before i gave up as a bad job. was funny to watch through out the night on occassions. Drinks were resonably priced and the venue was not to hot and there was plenty of room to dance in each of the rooms, sound system was OK but have heard better systems in my time.... although this was not my preferred venue it was OK for the kids who are not used to style....

POLICE: the police presemce at Bassline nights is always on the higher scale anyway but initially the police presence outside was quite intimidating but this soon faltered off when the rest of Barnsley started to take the aggression out on each other and this night club was left to just have a dance and enjoy the tunes which were been banged out by the professionals....Yipeee!!!

MUSIC: The music on nights like this is just perfect. Downstairs was the adult version and original speed(UK) Garage which we were all used to particularly with the arrival of Chris Bailey, who banged out the sexy vocals with the dirty undertones... this is just perfect original Garage..this did get somewhat harder as the night progressed and the arrival of Duggans set always makes the women go wild..Upstairs: Typical bassline beats.. people dont really understand it but the kids love it... caps and trainers galore with fake gold chains which weigh more than the men and skantily clad women who quite frankly could do much better for themselves...... Hey ho.. the way of the bassline posse...we all love the vibrations and if you understand the music, this was by far one of the best all round sets that you can get...

Well done Oxygen

However, would be nice to see this night from the promoters in a venue with a seedier front and back room, if you struggle for ideas.... we got some.
