The chillout zone
Did anyone see it?

Who said it wasn't going to be a messy weekender? Anyway...

What a great weekend - I arrived at about 7pm on the Friday and found Kez, Kim, Chris, Richie and Rowan there already. So I set about unloading some meat into Kez's tent. (Oi! Leave it dirty people!). Once we were unpacked the rugby ball came out and there were some fun and games while a steady flow of DSI-ers arriving started to fill up the field that we had been given.

By about 10pm most people were there and at just after 11pm, following the arrival of DaveB, came the moment that most of us had been waiting for; everyone gathered around Heath's brazier and the DSI boys were given their birthday present!

There were many hilarious monents through the evening - but top of the list for me has to be watching Chocolate trying to insert his inflatable mattress through the door of his tent which was about half as wide, at most.

I'll let someone else take over and describe Saturday as I had to leave at around lunchtime, but I have to say:

Well done Kez

for arranging the weekend - it was top - same time next year everyone?

Just please don't anyone mention my late night comedy phone call!

WOWZERS Iain!!

I totally have to agree with you!!

We (Myself, Loz-zy, Wrongun & Jewish...AKA FiFi-La-FuFu!!) set off at about 6pm on Friday and eventually arrived at about 10pm I guess....We stopped off on the way to pick up Rowans purse that she left in the toilets in little chef and then after many phone calls to base (Camp obv!!) we ventured in to Tesco with a list as long as my arm for requests for many items.....Mainly alcohol!! LOL!!

Seems that everyone had drunk their weekends supply by about 9pm Friday night!!

Friday night was utter carnage - But i loved every minute of it! Giving the boys their picture and birthday book was such a sight for sore eyes! None of them knew what to say, where to look or what to do! (John even told me the following day that he was so 'shocked' that he just kept prodding the sausage on the BBQ and hoped no one would notice! LMAO!!)

Not too sure about anyone else, but i didn't get to bed until about 5am....Then was awake again by 8am to the smell of Kez making us all a cooked breakfast!! What a darling!!

Saturday was spent mostly at the beach by all, lots of sunbathing and relaxing - whilst some ventured in to the sea to do some surfing!! Beautiful weather, beautiful scenary and beautiful people to share it with - couldn't have asked for a better day!!

Saturday afternoon bought a very competitive game of rounders, with John B and Stu Ardern as captains...Stu's team claimed to have won, but I think they cheated! (LOL - Wonder who's team I was on!?)
We could have won if Wrongun didn't keep running our players out, but lets not go in to that now! ;)

Saturday night bought a split in to the group as some of us went to watch the FNUK boys play at the only night club that Woolacombe had to offer, whilst the remainer of the group stayed at Camp and, well...Relaxed!!

I was one of the night club crew, so cant report on what was going on at Camp, but the night out on the town in Woolacombe was FAB!! Lots of dancing done by all (INCLUDING SLINKYBOUNCER!!) but as it got more full (The FNUK boys filled the place - Rock ON!!!) so did the temperature rise, so Kez, Jewish, SlinkyBouncer and myself all decided to leave at about midnight.....We walked out of the club and phoned quite possibly the only taxi firm in Woolacombe, to be told they had no taxi's available for the remainder of the night!

NICE!!!

....So....Off we set on our mission to walk up quite possibly the BIGGEST HILL IN THE WORLD!!!
Maybe the walk did us good - who knows!

We were joined by Detox along the way - so the five of us went about our mission to get to the top of the hill!
(BTW - if anyone is thinking of going there and climbing this hill - DONT!! Its not at all good for your muscles the following day!! LOL)

The party was still going on at Camp when we arrived three quarters of an hour later, so we joined in the carnage...But unfortunately I have a memory block from there to the following morning so i can't tell you what happened next! Hahaha!!

Sunday morning was spent packing up tents and saying our good byes....Such a great weekend I didn't want it to end!!!

Thank you to everyone who came and made the weekend so bloomin' brilliant!!
We couldn't have done it with out you!!

Love you ALL LOADS!!! Becks...xXx
