Camp - more then just camping
I was persuaded to go to camp at the last minute and I am so glad that I went. I didn't really know what to expect and on the journey down I was a little apprehensive, after all, I was about to spend the weekend in a field with a bunch of people I didn't really know.

However, and this is a testament to the true DSI spirit, I was lucky enough to be in the company of a group of the most friendly, welcoming, easy going and fun people you could ever wish for. Meeting people I'd chatted to on the site was great but meeting new people was even better. Everyone there got on so well (not necessarily due to how wrecked we were). The spirit there was great.

For me it was a brilliant weekend made special by genuinely good people. I thank all those who I had the pleasure of spending time with. It was more then a camping trip but a rare life experience that I will cherish.

What I'm finding funny is the whole post camp experience - you can see that the weekend has had such a positive influence on a fair few of us. I think there was born a camaradery on camp that is going to stay with a group of us for a long time.

Here's to the next one - I'm so looking forward to spending time and having fun with you all again.

(notice how I managed to write something without swearing or being rude - I've clearly had too much sun today - fucking shitcunts)

On a more serious note....T'was our pleasure honey and I know that you have basically just described how a load of us feel after camp....

....WOW, I can feel the love from this whole weekend experience......We all need to go out and buy camper vans, wear flip flops and live in a tent I think.....
