The Canteen is being relaunched as new venue for media and arts in Barrow-in-Furness Nr Kendel. Housed within the canteens deceptive interior, the first and second floor of the building began to be used again as office spaces for a series of media organisations (including two film companies) As it develops on the basement floor of the premises there will also be a studio and band rehearsal spaces and a not for profit cinema. But it is the Canteens main hall and it's unique arched window performance space that is the focal point as it attracts more and more quality Performers, Bands and DJS!
