Vipers HR Debout!
Hardcore Revelation 4!

First off I'd like to start from the very beginning with regards to Dave and Graham! As Many of you's know these guys are the brains behind Vortex Raves in Bournemouth. After working with them and playing their first Vortex Event I have always been keen to get myself on at Hardcore Revelation!

Last Friday was HR's 4th Event this year but my first HR experience! the least I could say is that the 12 hour journey was well worth it! An event such as HR makes every mile worth while after a night like that!

I gotta say a massive big upp's to all the Dj's and MC's who played, every set was outstanding but most importantly the Ravers who were there for the Chappel Bro's right through to the sounds of Paul Manx in the early ours of Saturday morning!

From the second I walked into the Bang bar to the time I left after closing time there was never once a bad feeling of tensions, nothign but happy smiling ravers, with friends walking through the door to be greeted with open arms by a friend stomping on the dancefloor!

The Bang Bar

The Security and the Bar staff where very happy and alot of the time seen to be having a laugh and smiling with the ravers of hampshire!

a very cool seating area at the back of the club which comes in handy after a stomp session set lol!

The sound system was loud and clear! Crisp at all times, I couldnt wait to play my tracks after listening to the other Dj's sounds coming through the system!

The Set-Up

Technics // 1000's & a DJM800.. a good Booth Speaker.. and Ravers at arms length.. What else can a DJ ask for???? Top Marks on providing the Set up HR Team!

Viper's Set

Playing at HR has to be one of my favourite sets to date! like I've just stated the setup was stop on which helps relax Dj's at times knowing you have a reliable farmiliar set-up. Working along side Friction was a pleasure and look forward to working with him again.

Huge..huge shouts (and yes you got that from me a few times duran my set lol) to the ravers at the front! I was overwelmded with the response from the crowd as I was playing a not so commercial set, with a few new bits and some very underground sounds to finish of the set! Apart from being unable to scratch like I usually do I was getting more and more into the set, stomping, raving harder myself, while trying not to break anything lol

I got alot of praise and great feedback from many people at HR after my set, I thank you all and glad you all enjoyed it! Hope to see familiar faces come december! ;)

Viper's Summary

Overall I gotta say I totally enjoyed my experience at HR, myself and Manxy talked about it most of our journey home in the car!

HR is like one happy family of ravers!

I'm really looking forward to making the trip back down in December for the Vortex v Hardcore Revelation Christmas Special!

Big up the HR Family!

cheers,

Scott // Viper

Yeah, the headshells came with the decks seperate to the cartridge and stylus.. I forgot to put the weight on the headshell.

You should bring your own needles to the xmas one just incase ;)
