ROB DAVIES-any years of hardwork have finally paid of as 2007 saw Rob's appointment to the big time, having being offered residency at Escape, Swansea. Rob was also made promoter of his own event 'Escape Gets Filthy' the biggest and best Hard Dance night in Swansea. Robs boundless energy and hunger to succeed have been the key factors in his rise to the top of the Welsh Hard House Scene, as he is now regarded as Wales' Number 1 Hard House DJ.
Robs fast paced and energetic style of Hard House has seen him regularly smash dancefloors at events such as Polysexual, Westfest, Goodgreef, Storm, Atomik Weekender, Escape into the Park and many more where he has built up an army of followers, and Demo CDs such as "Half Ounce of Bounce", "Smashed", 'Bosch' and 'The Other Side' have earnt him fans all over the UK. Not to mention his residencies at Wales' biggest events Bionic and Cuba Gets Filthy where he was played alongside and held his own with every big name in the business from Showtek to Eddie Halliwell and Tidy Boys to Zany! Rob has also toured Poland and Ireland and is set to make his mark on Ibiza next summer with Hindsight and Ibizan Heat!
Rob is steadily working his way up the ranks at a rate of knots, confirmed with a nomination for a Hard Dance Award in the 'Best Resident' category this year. He can adapt well to any given situation, be it a chunky warm up set or an all guns blazing, flat out Hard House bosh-a-thon. Rob has now moved into Production with his debut track "Bad Time" released on the Presence Label. He also saw his second release "Gimme a Mother F'in Bounce" Hit Number 4 in the Hard Dance Chart, and also featured on Andy Whitbys Euphoria compilation! Keep an eye out for further productions coming out soon on the likes of Deprivation, Presence Hard, 3Phase.
