Were kitting the place out with full rave regalia, murals, banners, cammo netting, parachutes and the like. We also have Vjing and lazers in the main room.

The night aims to reflect a growing interest in cross-genre nights were people can come and enjoy a properly eclectic experience whilst getting their drink on and getting down with a big selection of big tunes!

As ever there is a heavy Stone Groove Social influence with Bobafatt et al spinning hip hop, funk and soul cuts with the upmost care to scratch, juggle and spit lyrical all the way through. MC:EP from Bath based collective the Beat Poets will be hosting for the heads, whilst Mr. Shrew & friends endevour to create new school art master pieces on canvas which you lucky punters can win in an auction, check Secret Wars for inspiration and info.

To all who have supported and enjoyed the last two years, May heralds the start of the future and should hopefully represent the amalgamation of talents which nestles in the area as well as showcasing some wicked breakbeat action from two of the UK's finest.

Control Z Biography:

Control Z are are a Nu Skool Breakz production duo hailing from London. Tom Petais and Nicky D’Silva aka Dash and Inch met through the Community Music Program in London. The pairing up of these two DJs by their tutor was to be the start of something special and their first Control Z Production was unleashed.

Snapped up by Dj Mutiny’s Funkatech Recordings, ‘Disko' and 'Pain’ made up the debut single that was to cause a big splash in the Breaks Scene. Straight to number 1 in the Mixmag Chart and straight into the boxes of the Breakbeat elite this dancefloor bomb paved the way for a busy 1st year for the duo. Now with 15 releases and remixes under their belts on respected labels such as 777 and Hardcore beats, Control Z have had support from some of the biggest players in the scene such as The Freestylers, Freq Nasty, Tayo, Aquasky, Deekline , Breakfastaz, Skool of Thought..the list goes on…Radio Support has seen Ctrl Z tracks on Both Radio 1 and Kiss Fm as well as pretty much every specialist station around.

The duo are rapidly becoming known for their energetic DJ sets which have rocked floors at nights such as Fuse, Innovation, Raindance, Best of British, Payload and Brace Yourself, and have taken them to Spain as headlining Acts. As well as regular gigs, Control Z can be heard smashing up the airwaves on the Double Award Winning station Pyrotechnicradio.com. Hotly Tipped by Breakspoll as ‘the next BIG thing’ , Control Z show no signs of slowing down over the next year and are currently collaborating with breakbeat stalwarts such as Tayo and the Autobots, as well as a host of vocalists in preparation for their next onslaught of tunage! A tour of America, Gigs in UK (including Breakspoll 2006 @ Fabric) and Europe and a lot more bass fuelled Remixes and Singles. Watch out!
