We welcome back ‘SCUBAROOTS’, who will be playing a set based on their new album material and live show. The 9 piece’s music spans many genres whilst still occupying their own space somewhere within the funk / ska / breaks & drum and bass spectrum. They are an innovative and adaptive band who incorporate an eclectic range of sounds and elements. They often rock-out mega-club ‘Clockwork’ in Bristol alongside the likes of 'First Degree Burns' and 'Dub from Atlantis'. This is part of a tour where the band will be showcasing their new album and the Bath leg is simply not to be missed for more info see: scubaroots.com On the electronic side of things we have the massive 30hz. He is one half of the ‘BODY SNATHERS’ (alongside Boabinga), ‘EMPTYSET’ (often found writing with Bristol’s Microman) and the co-founder of ‘TECHTONIC RECORDINGS’ (alongside DJ Pinch). Between all his pseudonyms, he has remixed artists such as Ferry Corsten, Krafty Kuts, Vex'd, and D. Ramirez as well as collaborating with Smithmonger, Circuit Breaker, Baobinga & Id, Meat Katie, Yolanda and DJ Pinch. Known for his quick-mixing bass-heavy DJ style, 30Hz has become one of the DJ's to look out for, lighting up gigs across Australia, Europe, and North America – and performing numerous times on BBC Radio 1, including a live broadcast from London super-club Fabric on Annie Nightingale 's show earlier this year. More info can be found @ myspace.com . We also have the dexterous delights of Chucky T, one of Baths premier Hip Hop selectors warming up the decks upstairs playing both UK and US cuts before Drop Records badman DJ Slack steps up to play’s an h'original old skool jungle set up stairs. ---------------------------------------- Tickets @ Moles : moles.co.uk ---------------------------------------- Artist Links: 30HZ - myspace.com Scubaroots - scubaroots.com & myspace.com Slack - myspace.com Raredj - myspace.com Proxy - myspace.com IOTD - myspace.com
