this is the third year i have been to westfest and i love it. but...there was an hour wait at one point to access the hardcore room. we were told to go away and come back. at another stage we could not even gain access to the building that the main arena and hardcore rooms were in. we found another way in within 5 mins to the main arena and then to the hardcore room. it was nearly empty. i asked the security why thy were not letting people in and they just said "we dont know". as it is the hardcore awards if the main arena is bigger, which i think it is, wouldnt it make sence to swap rooms. if people pay for a ticket to see the awards then that is exactly what they should get. i was dissapointed as i know others were.
other than that i thought everything else was spot on. tiolets were clean, security were fantastic, and parking was good. wicked event, love it and definatly going next year.

im glad u found the toilets better than me! i shared mine wiv 2 tampons n a used jonny! plus there was no toilet roll!! but we only qued for 15mins, i was happy as i spent my nite in the slinky room! the event was mental n well worth the 5 n half hours it took me to travel there!

I dint have any trouble getiing in rooms but i dint really leave the hardcore room so thats probley why!! Yeah it was wicked and im def comming next year aswell!

i left my house at 10am sat morn and didnt get home til 3pm sunday!! first time i've been to westfest and it must of been about 8 years since i was at the venue since dreamscape used to do raves there, well worth all the traveling though, i had a wicked night :P

yeah remembering queing outside hardcore room for seduction for aaages got in and there was tonnes of room, didnt understand why they werent letting people in.
it was good in there would have like to have seen more in that room but slinky was awesome from pin up onwards, forgot about the other rooms!

had a cup of tea on the dance floor at 4.30 cos they run out of cold drinks, was surreal and quality haha, fuckin ace night over all tho :o)

Was a wicked nite. Been loads of bitchin bout queues which were a pain in the ass but who has been 2 1 of these events and not queued? Music was bangin across all arenas but award ceremony was a bit of a spin sesh. At that time in the morning we needed tunes!

that is true dont seem so bad when you look at what happened at a certain other event in london....

this was a sick event i lvoed every minute of it!!! phattest set of da night was sy and hixxy at da end there was some phat tunes on dere!!! but the friction set main stage wit eksman and shabba well that was some phat mc'in my fone loved the videos i got of it!

they shut both rooms dnb n hardcore then an ambulance went in so that mite av been something 2 do with it! they change it every year, this year wasnt as good i dont think but still had a wicked time as always! :)

well it was my first year n i will b goin back again n again!!didnt bother with the HH room cos i cld not b assed to wait but i manged to see Hixxy in the main room n he played a wicked set!!! some proper put ur hands in the air tracks!! bionic did it for me all night long!!! n i thought cally gage played a brill set @ slinky!!!! wasnt impressed with the VIP but me n my bloke just went in there to use the bar n sit down a couple of times!!! funky house sounds proper slow when ur right on one!!! all in all though i had an amazin night!!! THANK YOU SLAMMIN VINYL!!!!X

I loved it!! Was awesome!! Queing was odd!! Moved about 10 foot in 45 mins then walked straight in the rest of the way!! And they didnt bother searching us!!

The only problem we had was the crush outside the Hardcore arena wen they stopped letting people in!! Freaked me out a bit but wen we got in it was fine!! loadsa room and didnt get that problem again all nite!!

Was a quality nite will def be going again
