Ola everybody :) First and foremost I would like to thank everybody properly for voting for me and paul for this years awards, I thought i'd take the time out to come on here and thank each and everyone of you properly as I tend to get nervous and forget things when I have a microphone handed to me and am left to my own devices...



The gig was fantastic, everyone in there was still so responsive and up for it at this point, and even tho we arrived later (mega apologies for that by the way) we really enjoyed ourselves

Id like to thank the Slammin vinyl boys for giving doogy and myself the chance to perform on the mainstage again, it really is a huuuuge honour :)

:: Best Producer ::

Dougal and myself are not in this to win awards but to just enjoy doing what we do, the fact that you guys appreciate it that much however has overwhelmed us :) So we'd both like to send out a big thank you to everybody. The biggest buzz when it comes to writing tunes originates from you ravers, seeing you go mad to the music you love inspires us to do this, no other scene has the same energy, you guys are truly 'hardcore' because you can go crackers start to finish, so mega big up!



For anyone who is thinking of posting up and using the old 'well its all Gammer, he should have got the award himself' thing, its not like that! We both happily work as a team :) Whilst I enjoy coming up with blip squeaks and funky town noises, Dougal tends to have the vision which pieces the ideas together. Over the last couple of years we've spent 5-6 days a week solid in the studio just making sure the mixdowns are as strong as they can be, to be honest it tends to do my nut in at times but its not all that bad :)





:: Best Tune (A New Feeling) ::
I am absolutely touched by this :D Again thank you very much guys for voting for this tune, whilst its been a favourite in my set I never imagined it for song of the year, not by a longshot

The original holds alot of meaning for me, it was more of a track written for myself which after getting some support from a certain top mc (love ya whizzkid ;) found its way into my sets, shortly before recieving some vocal treatment from the lovely Cat



I have to give a massive thanks to Cat Knight for this :) Its all down to her that this has gone from being just a melodic instrumental into a full blown sing-a-long fest, So thank you cat :) I know im a useless pain in the rear end bumper sometimes but you really have made this record. its just a shame Slammin dont reveal the results else id have invited you along to share the award :( But i do look forward to hooking up some more this year :)

Also, a big thanks to all the other DJ's who supported this track :) Love you guys




And back to the ravers, whats made me play this track so much is seeing you guys singing along and waving your hands to the piano everytime it drops, big love, thank you all again :D seriously im overwhelmed

Oh My Word!

When Styles came over and told me that I came second place in the best DJ category I was over the moon!

I mean, i've had alot of fun with my sets this year, putting together special remixes and bootlegs and stuff purely for fun, but I never thought in a million years id get anywhere near that!

So thank you again to everyone who voted for that, I know I didnt win, and to be honest, im not bothered! If I didnt come top 3 in a single category next year, I wouldnt be sad, because I am so touched that this year you guys have all enjoyed everything that dougal and myself have been doing

I've also got to put a big shout forward to my mc friend, Whizzkid, we've both had lots of fun performing with each and you've been a real good friend to me since coming into this scene as a wee nipper

Also big up to stormio who often gives me brutal but constructive criticism (and congrats on your 5th year mate :) ) and dougal, hixxy, styles, mum, nat, jbc, hana, jen and jon and everyone else who has shown me support and generally been up for getting pissed and having fun :)

And once again, you guys :D I just want to point out that as far as next year goes, im not on a mission to win an award again, im not going to get all egotistical and presume im the best, im just going to crack on with doing what i love and having a laugh with it :) Again, if i get top 3 on anything next year i wouldnt mind, because raving-wise, this has been my most enjoyable so far :) and the scene just keeps getting better and better


I still think it would look better in the Muffin Studio

Right now im going to have a hot chocolate, play halo 3 then go to bed, I look forward to playing at another disco soon :) peace

Haven't been out much lately but heard most of your sets on cd or tape and the Gammer/Whizzkid sets are always amazing - well done on the 2nd place Best Dj - WOW!!!!
