It was that time of year again, time for Bestfest a.k.a. Westfest 2009, considered by many as the event of the year, evan over NYE!! =P I Gotta say Westfest is up there as one of my fave events allso like =)

Westfest boasts many arenas with many different forms of hard dance, something for everyone who likes one form of hard dance if you will =p Here follows now my thoughts in a review styl-E Type of way if you will!! =p My Westfest 2009 Experieance =)

Here's why this was my fourth year in a row @ Westfest, for the Bionic Arena Oh Yes Oh Yes Indeed =)

Bionic Arena @ Westfest '09

8 - 9.15. John The Baptist & DJ Chuck-E.

Got to the Bionic Arena just before 9pm, so only caught the very tail end of this set but what little of it i caught / heard sound Banging Butt, espicially there last track the classic FM1 by DJ Scot Project T-U-N-E-! Evan though i only caught the tail end of this set i heard they allso played these top tunes, an all new version of there 'Oh My God' remix played there new track 'The Final Frontier' Played the 3 new DJ Chuck-E bootlegs including a new gabba booty, and for the football fans they got Shocker to give a shout out to Arsenal for beating the Spurs 3-0 earlier on in the day!!?? =p Allthough i only caught the tail end of this set it was a top Top Set =)

9.15 - 10.20. Frisky.

She played loads and loads of top tunage and here's just a few i can remember, some faves like, the Dirty Vegas - Days Go By - Remix, Run DMC - Remix, some new one's like the new Headhunterz and Showtek tracks, top Top Set =)

10.20 - 11. Mark EG

Only caught a bit of this set due to big toilet ques, he played a top T-U-N-E-! When i got back from the toilet's Pavo - Raven =)

11 - 12. Brian M Vs. McBunn b2b Flarup.

When i originally heard about this Exclusive 1st time ever 3 way back 2 back i wasn't greatlly happy with the thought as i'd only seen Flarup once before and wasn't overlly blown away by his set and the thought of him playing back 2 back with my fave dj's Brian & Bunny wasn't overlly appealling to me, but i gotta say i was actually impressed by this set, i knew what to expect from Brian & Bunny ie a slamming set and ofcourse they played a slamming set back 2 back with flarup, flarup up surprised me @ how good he was, i personally would have prefered a Brian M & McBunn Set, but as a change they played back 2 back with Flarup which was Cool Like =) They each played 2 tracks each and here's the set =)

They Kicked off with, A-Lusion & Brennan Heart - Don't Speak followed by Brian M vs. McBunn - Ceremony and then between all 3 of them played more monster hardstyle tunage like, Nobody Said It Was Easy - Brian M & Kashi Remix T-U-N-E-!, Showtek - Here We Fucking - Remix, Flarup's bootleg of Hardstyle Ambassadors mixed with Oh My God!, Ukrainian Hardstylerz - Time Machine - Brian M vs. McBunn Remix, Showtek - Early Soundz, Brian M vs. McBunn - Vengeance T-<</b>b>U-N-E-!, Flarup (not sure of track title but it goes) Hardstyle Power, Flarup's new track, Nothing Else Matters with Live Lyrics by MC DV8, Loads more top tunage and some wicked scratching by McBunn in a top Top Set =)

12 - 1. Cally & Juice Live.

Mr Cally & Mr Juice had a wicked halloween intro in the form of a creepy carnival / circus horror esque style & then kicked off with Proppy & Heady - Summer Of Hardstyle T-U-N-E-!, followed loads more top tunage like there crowd fave mix of Bonkers!!, played some new corkers, did some nice scratching and then then went Live with Dirty Romeo on live vocals and guitar with Mr Juice on live vocals aswell, 2nd time i've seen them live now, 1st time was cool, but this time was evan cooler as the live bit turned the crowd into a mosh pit like @ a live band gig, top Top Set =)

1 - 2. A-Lusion.

Not only a Bionic Debut but a Uk Debut i believe!!?? For A-Lusion and when he started his set i thought oh my!! plinky plonky ice cream style music!! And in my opinion it was the 1st half and then the 2nd half he changed gear as it were and played better / harder. Stand out track for me was an oldie but a goodie Showtek - Party Lover T-U-N-E-! Top Set =)

2 - 3. Tuneboy.

Another Not only a Bionic Debut but a Uk Debut i believe!!?? As soon as this guys name went on the line up loads and loads of people were raveing about how good he is but when i hear that im normal thinking when i see that DJ play for the 1st time i think right!! That's another one that's over hyped to the max!! But this time i could see / hear the hype and he played a slammer of a set, loads of top hardstyle tuneage he played, 2 stand out tracks for me was (think it's technoboy, it goes and the record spins) T-U-N-E-! & Another T-U-N-E-! Technoboy - Ti Sento & That Rambo is a Pussy Track is well funny / good aswell. Top Set =)

3 - 4. Trance Generators.

Seen these a few times now and everytime they play a good set just like they did here @ Bionic Arena @ Westfest 2009. Only caught like half the set though as left earlly as was tired but what i heard of it sounded cool, especially the classic Suckas Of Hardcore & Gigi (something, i know it but can never actually remember the actual track name lol, so i simplly call it) Domination T-U-N-E-! Top Set (What i heard before bed) =p =)

As just said left earlly so missed the last 2 sets but heard they rocked like =)

4 - 5. Dave Joy.

5 - 6. Swankie DJ & Kashi.

His Uk debut i believe?? 1st time i've seen this guy before, but i've heard him on Q-Dance Mix's & Of Course He Re-Sung Nothing Else Matters T-U-N-E-! Nice Hosting Dude =)

yhh m8 !.. spent most my time in the hardcore but fuck me the bionic room was rocking.. had the best atmosphere of the venue n everyone was just stomping the fuck out :) deffo gunna be popping in more often to see the harder styles..

A-Lusion's set woz fukin immense from start to finish. The best set ov the day in Bionic followed closely by Tuneboy. Loved Mark & the Proteus on main stage aswell tho even tho they were on early as fuck!!
