I've never been one to abuse, just use to my personal liking, however accidents can and do happen, ie the slight miscommunication at westfest resulting in me being off my trolley for a good 12 hrs and taking a trip around my own mind in my very own sunshine bus.

I just think people can be too quick to point fingers.

Just seems that people are seeing how smashed they can get all the time. Try doing it sober or whatever, just have a few drinks. You might enjoy it.


And yes it does seem that there is always news of people fainting, having fits etc after these big events. People are not going to stop taking drugs but we really need to look out for our fellow ravers guys. Keep hydrated etc.

i was at gatecrasher when some1 did really die in an arena!!!! the whole tent was shut down, forensics called in, security stepped up!!!! think if some 1 had died then they would not (by law) jus let u continue on using the venue.............every1 would know about it!!!!! and jus to point out there was no malous when this guy passed, no stabbin, overdose or ne thing else, turned out hehad a weak heart and that was that!

I do hope it hasnt happened, I wasnt there but have been at previous events when people have fainted cos of lack of liquids and the heat etc!

just reading threw the comments, didnt hear of anyone gettin stabbed did see the ambulance keep wizzing about alot my friend who i went with had got surronded by 4 lads in the main arena during dnb they ripped his chain off his neck n bascially sed wot are you gonna do about i was quite shocked i was in bionic most nite gd atmosphere wicked nite once again :D

On our way in Main gate we saw a cop that had found a sniper riffle?! I was like wtf
later inside about 2ish I saw a fight kicking off outside the main arena but the guy was dragged off by security fast.

I saw another lad sat on the floor with blood comming out his nose by the bogs.

I saw a few abbulances taking ppl off

I saw a lot of ppl being Sick Must of bee a lot fo naff drugs going about.
I wasn't in main Areana when that seizure Happened BUt my cousin Told me later she saw it and the person Died!!

I didn't see or hear of anyone getting Stabbed and there would have been blood on the floor in the main areana and there wasn't any cus I spent 1hr30mins at 6am looking for my car keys cus my twat friend lost them

There was one guy on the floor on the side entrance into the main arena from the Hardcore arena side. He had 3 paramedics next to him and they were putting bandage over his side where there was blood marks... Did look like he had been stabbed with bottle or something else. Can see how he would of wounded himself any other way.... Very sad.

I think things have gone down hill somewhat since alcohol and legal highs have been for sale... My Mrs took legal highs last year and was sick, then trying to be sick another 6 hours.. Took her to A&E last year. Not heard yet of anyone having a good experience with legal highs, but there must be some!

It did feel a little more aggressive/larger loutish this year. Some of the arena's were also half full which was a shame.

Saw one guy falling a sleep on his chair in the chill out and some lad pulled the chair from under him. Got up to stop it happening, but was too late. That was sad and not the vibe.

i had a wicked might yes there was alot of ambulances wizzing about but i didnt see one bit of aggro and i was in dnb 90% of the evening

Only thing i saw was One Bloke being searched By the entrance! (Poor guy, think he had to full on strip)

There was a fight which 2 of my mates did see! Some1 passed out in the Hardcore room as Whizzkid stopped the set!

i totally dis-agree....
i thought the vibe in both arena's for the dnb was wicked. evryone i see seemed to be having a good laugh, i never bumped into anyone who had any attitude.

i think ppl stereotype the crowd that comes with dnb too much..

I had a wicked time! Saw a few ambulances but no aggro, i personally thought the vibe was better than last year, the only time i felt a bit anxious was heading to the main arena at 3 when all the d n b were coming out and the hardcore lot heading in, there was a lot of pushing and shoving.

Only "man down" i heard was in the hardcore arena and was sorted pretty quickly. It was also lovely to have room to dance in the arenas this year :)

Doormen can't strip search. They can only pat down and make you turn out your pockets and bags and take your coat and shoes off etc. But legally, all you're allowed to do is pat someone down and search their pockets and stuff.

the most logical thing is that ppl use drugs, bounce around, don`t drink enough water, dry out and pass out, that happens all the time, but those ppl don`t die

I have to agree about the d'n'b in the main arena, I walked in about 3ish and waited by the entrance for it too finish, and noticed there were people puttin bandana's over their faces and their hoods up lookin proper dodgy. I didn't get any agg from anyone and had a wicked night so it was all good, just noticed certain things that night.
