Five years ago I left the wonderful town of Plymouth and my beloved weekly club Dance Academy, and for the past five years I have not had a night close to those magical nights out......until Logik!

The Drop2Rise Angels were asked to come and perform and I was really excited about it as it was our first hardcore booking, and my my what a night we all had! This wasnt a night to be praised just for the music and it wasnt an event that was rammed with thousands of ravers, but what Logik had to offer was something so very different to all the others, Logik stood true to the love and unity of hardcore raving and for me they have re-set the standard and reminded me of what a Saturday night should feel like!

We started our journey from Aldershot and after a crazy secenic tour of the coutryside we found ourselves in the little town of Trowbridge near Bath. Five minutes of walking to the club I was stopped by the Police to praise our outfits and it was a real flashback as suddenly I realised that the people of Trowbridge had that old familar west coutry accent and were as friendly as pie!

The Angels arrived at the club and were instantly aware of how very friendly and helpful all of the staff were, I can honestly say that not one person all night long had the slightest bit of attitude, it was all love and peace baby!

I was overjoyed as we were shown the flyers for this night, the first time I had seen them, and the first ever flyers to feature the angels, there we were in print under the names of two of my all time most respected hardcore producers and DJ's, Hixxy and Darren Styles, not a bad start!!

We spent the entire night raving away to proper hardcore and all my favourite tunes were played, the MC's were wicked too and really kept the vibe going. Thanks for letting me have the mic for a bit ;) lol xx

I finally got to shake Hixxys hand, may not have meant much to you fella but you have been blasting out of my stereo for years and its one of my life goals achieved, you are a fucking legend my son, and if I am right you wrote my all time favourite tune aswell.. Tantric

So there we were The Angels and the legends of Hardcore, hidden away in the best kept secret of the South West, The Hub club. This is a venue that deserves some serious recognition, the place is old skool and I have never seen decor like it, every wall and feature had its own amazing paint work and it made for some excellent pictures, you had so much space and two quality rooms to choose from not to mention a massive island bar, very well positioned and lots of comfy sofas to chill out on. I felt at home in there, where as most clubs make me just feel like going home!!


The club manager Tony was a little diamond to us all night aswell surrendering his office to us for the night and always greeting us with a smile and respect, what a top fella you are and what a fantastic club you have going on there.

The promoter Jack Betenson was also a complete darlin and made sure we were all looked after and always had a smile on his face, a vast contrast to some of the people we have met and Drop2Rise wishes you all the luck with your Logik nights, your an amazing promoter and ran everything very professionally, The Angels will always support you and we cant wait to see you all again for another brilliant night!

My heartfelt praise goes out to The Angels on the night, Ana, Emma and Hatty... girls you all looked amazing and worked together fantastically, the angels are truly a new sensation and I heard so many good things all night long about our dance group, it is these things that drives me to work so hard on our projects. Also a big kiss and hug to James who has been to most of our events and been the very best spotter a group could ask for, always on the ball getting the best pics, your a star xxx

The Angels final outfits of the evening were a little taster of the new Inspiros Dance Range, designed by myself and very kindly mocked up by my mum!! Thanks mum the skirts looked amazing and they were a dream to dance in, thank you for that xxx

All in all my love and belief in clubland has been fully restored, may there be many more nights like this.....

You seem to be everywhere on this site- wherever i turn! Are you doing anything in London soon? It would be nice to see you all in action rather than hearing about it or seeing it on photos everywhere. Best of luck, although you don't need it I'm sure.

Yeah, i'm ok. Well, now i am. I felt rough as fuck on Sunday, lol. I ended up at a pub around the corner till 6 in the morning. Was puking up anything that i put down me. Doh!

Then again, untill dinner time on Sunday all i that was going inside of me was liquid... once i had my roast dinner i felt alot better... and i still ended up at the pub on Sunday night, lol.
