FMP - Full Moon Party Koh Pha-Ngan Paradise Island! Since more than 20 years the monthly top event at worldfamous Fullmoon Party Beach Haad Rin at the south coast of Phangan Island! Every month Had Rin is transformed into a massive party zone with nearly 20 pulsing nightclubs where DJs spin beats of trip hop and trance music, bonfires dot the beach and bars line the sands.
Full Moon Party is not just a normal party but monthly Haad Rin's dance music festival which is famous worldwide, with everything from drum and bass to full-on psy-trance. Paradise Bungalows, the site of the original Full Moon Party, consistently puts on the biggest show with inspired decor and a combination of superb resident and international guest DJs.
In the mid-1980s, a group of tourists found that the best place to enjoy the full moon was a crescent-shaped beach on a small island off the coast of Thailand - Haad Rin Beach on Koh Phangan. They held the first all-night party to appreciate the full moon. Since then the island has become one of South East Asia's biggest party spots.
There are over 10,000-20,000 people at the party each month. The party begins at dusk, When the round yellow moon makes its appearance over the white sand beach. In twilight, small tables are lined up on the beach and thousands of lamps are lit...
As the evening progresses the beach explodes into a dancing frenzy as different m.c.'s take their furn on the decks. There is something for everyone here, trance, techno, drum and bass, commercial dance and reggae, no-one is disappointed. Jugglers and fire-eaters entertain the crowds as the night goes on and with the brilliant impromptu fireworks display, the party atmosphere is complete. After a few hours it could be time to chill-out for a while, maybe grab a drink or a bite to eat from one of the many beach traders and wade out or sit down in the warm surf of the Gulf of Thailand, pure, pure heaven. Revived and relaxed it's time to return to the main beach and get blown into another dancing dimension, While all around people are doing the same, there are no barriers here,no inhibitions, just people enjoying themselves with one unified intention, to rejoice in the magic that is the paradise Of FULL MOONPARTY!
