It’s hard to put into words-

When a party is THAT good a night- it was my second High Voltage event as a raver and also an MC.
The last one saw an electrical night, with an atmosphere, and vibe to rival many a hardcore dance floor, above all High Voltages crowed are one that bring this vibe EACH and EVERY time.

I arrived there a little ahead of time, which is always nice, I was due on with my Hardcore Hit Squad at 10.00 o clock, and arrived to the sounds of D.J Duo Crave and Back Lash, they played a nice upfront set that had all the early ravers dancing and bouncing at the very start of the night.
Bernzi the original promoter and mic controller was in the house smashing it up and tweaking the system as he hyped us up!

After ordering the first pint and Sid P getting me in the mood with a laugh and a joke at the bar, with Becca Boo- I found my party vibe and jumped on stage to host the Hit Squad set! The crowed held up for us which was nice and the place slowly filled. Sonik (with a K) laid down some nice hardcore which featured I Need You, by Styles well done mate!;)
Greg Peaks represented his Free Form side of the spectrum and dropped an awesome track that went off with a pow!
Mr Sparkle, looking like NOTHING can hold him back on the decks these days smashed it with a few tunes EXCLUSIVE from Japan - Radio Kill went off also with another big POWä!!!- All good in the Hood!!!! Well done guys for another wicked session!

Just after our show the ever growing in talent SID P stepped up to the microphone and gave a huuuge introduction to Simon Overload! Again a set to be reckoned with and the crowed gathered round as Si and Si blasted out with fine style setting the mood nicely! - I must say that Sid P has moved from strength to strength since his time on the mic! He’s still stepping it up every time he performs and is a awesome performer on stage, this event was no different!!!
Taking us through a rollercoaster of upfront tune age again the crowed were NOT disappointed.
Always a favourite for the H.V crew - James Dub stepped up to the hot box, and wanting more of the mic hardcore, Sid P took another set along with Bernzi! James Dub played a well rounded set and Bernz and Sid blew it up yet again!
After this set - was the first part of debut MC act for the night. . . The one and only MC CHIT CHAT took to the mic! I have known him since I first started Mcing at Northampton he’s always known how to work fully with the crowed and well he seems to just get better and better!!!! With lights red for the theme of the night and the laser on full effect this set ROCKED the Angel!
Chit Chat sMasHeD it on the mic, and well- Mister Stewart on the decks was also near nothing of outstanding. Upfront hardcore played at it’s BEST. And the structure of this set was spot on!
A last minuet Halloween treat for us at High Voltage came in the shape of the mighty MC Odyssey. A performer who I haven’t seen on stage for a while- ( I don’t go to the larger scale raves much) but when I first started out I was seeing him all the time at S.V’s and Uproar etc. I took time out of drinking and dancing to have a quick hello with him, he was in the party spirit and ready to rock with guest D.J Petruccio! After Chit Chat and Mister Stewart had taken us the highest level Odyssey opened up with Pertruccio for yet AGAIN another stomper of a set!!! Scratching back to back with his D.J this was just amazing! Pertuccio laying down tunes such as It Doesn’t matter and Rhythm of the night Remix, it was just- next level!!!!Odessey rocked it up with his unique voice and Mcing ability and again the crowed showed love by bringing the noise for the well deserved guests of the night.
I was a little blown away by this point, and time flew by so quick that I was due on again to host D.J Fast Freddy special birthday set for his lady Tina!- Freddy is a very special D.J as he has helped me no end and he was the very first D.J that I collectively MC’d when I began my journey on the mic, way back in 1996! Pulling out ALL the stops he followed it up with true hard core finesse, playing tunes from Quosh to Nuklez and many more jumping tracks of our day. We had a nice interval and Tina was presented with her birthday- again nicely done from Freddy and all the H.V team, this just added to the vibe inside! Bernzi also MC’d with me on this set- and much needed I might add as my throat needed a beer ASAP! Always a pleasure working with Bernzi- he hypes up the crowed and just go’s for it!!!!!!!!!!Nice one man!
Fast Freddy stepped down and Bernzi himself took over sliding into sadly the last set - and we were reminded that the clocks had gone back too so we had an extra hour!- This did notice as I seemed to just keep on Mcing! Bernzi knows how to play last set, and smashed out with a wicked hardcore selection with a nice mix of Drum and Bass for your face thrown in for good measure! A few people had gone home by this point, but the crowed left were still well and truly up for it- and made up for the people that had left.
The house lights came on and just as they were going to kick us off- we were allowed one more!- Bernzi set the Halloween vibe alive once again and took us all out nicely!

Again this night proceeded it’s self- thumping sound system, good lights and laser show, nice mic volume, and one very happy and awesome crowed - nuff said.

D.J Fast Freddy, Topsy Turvey Tina!, Tracey always good to see you!- Sid P & Becca B!, MC Chit Chat,MC Odessey Jullen,Dave Pinnicle,Mashed Again and ALL THE CREW that attended all on a good time vibe!- The next one is on the 19th of December and their running TWO arenas- one with Hard House Storm and Sy are coming down too so BE THERE!!
And above all Bernzi and Miss Detonate that make these awesome nights possible.

i would like to say thanks to everyone for making hv so enjoyable, massive respect to all the dj's and ravers.

have to say loved james dubs set, playing all his own tunes, with a new style to the regular hardcore. Also loved mr stewarts set, got me bouncing once again on the dance floor. Hope Tina had a wicked bday bash. It was a stomper yet again. Thanks HV CREW, c u all on the 19th for another hardcore mad one. x
