It has been almost a year since you last played at Polysexual at Air, what has been happening in the world of the Kidd?

I have had lots on with the Kiddstock festival, with only a week away I’ve been spending most of my time shitting it and regularly checking weather forecasts. Check out www.kiddstock.com if you haven’t got your ticket yet - its going to be the most chaotic day of your lifetime!

I have noticed your name on quite a few festival line ups this year, what have been your festival highlights so far?

Planet Love in Dublin in the Polysexual Arena has been my favorite festival this year so far, Gatecrasher Summer Sound was pretty cool too.

What gigs are you most looking forward to over the next few months?

Definitely Kiddstock, I have been waiting for this to happen for months and months. Ground Zero is gonna be going off next weekend! I’m also looking forward to a gig in Russia I have at the end of the month, I have never played there before. I am also really looking forward to my Polysexual return, it’s been to long!

You recently won the hard dance awards biggest party animal award, what was the best party you have been to this year?

I reckon Sensation White, just for the sheer scale of it. It really did change my whole view on the scene and what can be possible.

What up and coming Djs do you tip for future stardom?

My protege Kidd Kaos, without a doubt the strongest new production talent in our field and he's even given the old timers a run for there money, check out his latest inspired anthem or the Kiddstock theme tune we wrote together for the event.

What tracks are doing the most dance floor damage during your sets?

The Kiddstock theme has been massive, the Asys remix is really strong on that too. I’ve been playing a lot of my own edits and mash ups for the festivals -they always go down well in the summer months. It’s also worth checking out Kamui's new EP if you haven’t done so already, definitely a big one in the bag. On the exclusive front, its all about my new remix of Love Is Gone by David Guetta – it has been huge for me.

What do you get up to in the week when you are not Dj`ing?

A bit of Gym, a lot of studio time both producing and on the dex practicing new skills and a fair bit of office work. I am a workaholic.

As a Dj what do you feel makes you stand out?

I am not really the best person to ask, I have just done as I have pleased for many years and sometimes that has worked and often it hasn’t but in the long run I have stuck too my guns.

What inspired you to become a Dj?

I just couldn’t stop fiddling with dex and mixers from when I was about 10. I learnt my trade playing anything from Hacienda classics to old skool jungle and everything in between. My brother loved Sasha, my sister loved squat parties...and between my older siblings I was infected and drawn into the culture. No looking back!!

What other types of music do you listen to apart from hard dance?

I love Techno from Cocoon, I love minimal from DC10, Andy C and Goldie are childhood heroes and Dave Clark is my idol. That should give you a slight picture.

If you were to make a film about yourself, what would the title be called?

De Puta Madre

If you could rule the world for 1 day what would you change?

My socks

Have you ever had a stalker?

I have had a few but they all seem to be really sweet and I feel like I should father them. There was a stalker who shall remain nameless but since his stalking days Alex Kidd HQ adopted him in the office and took him under our wing. Also my right hand man 'Fake DJ' used to be a stalker, ha how embarrassed he is about it to this day. There are a few girls with deficiencies that have given me a good stalking but they soon get bored of me.
