Despite the so called 'credit crunch' and competition from other major clubs in Birmingham, Godskitchen still managed to pull off a slamin' night for New Year's Eve 2008! The house was comfortably full.

The atmosphere was electric, the music top notch from beginning to end - couldn't wish for a friendlier crowd to bring in the New Year with.

The music in Nitrogen Room, (old house classis), was amazing! Some real surprise tunes came up - really different - and a really good contrast to the genere playing in the Oxygen Room.

Happy New Year to all who attended!

Here's hoping for a credit crunch turn-around and continued success throughout 2009 for Air Nighclub!

Trance Classics in the main room was great......

it was baltic down stairs, but the other two rooms and upstairs were fine.

Still, first time I've heard Yeke Yeke played this century, so I'll not complain too much

Was good but come on, It is so annoying when the place empties at 2:30. Cracking tunes played apart from the new years tune tune which was a complete anti climax, As the rush comes? Really?

yeah, it did empty pretty early
and maybe the midnight track weren't the best
but it was a pretty rememberable tune lol

had a great night but i just got fed up of classic after classic plus it was cold and a few hours after midnight and i just felt like the night had served its purpose.

That night was colder outside than in Moscow or Iceland apparently, so I guess a certain amount peops cleared off early due to that. I always wear out by 4am!

It would have been good to warm the downstairs room up at the end of the day.

It was a bit cold to be fair but actually As the rush comes was great I thought cause 1. I really love the song and 2. i thought it was mad cause I felt exactly like that so it was just great

I'd say it was cold in other two rooms as well but maybe not as cold as in the main room.The only really warm place in club was the area in front of the toilets and the bar on the first floor where lots of people tried to warm up. The place was warm for some time but by the end of the night it got cold too. I do hope they will sort it out..... we will see on 31st Jan.
