Dougal and myself are not in this to win awards but to just enjoy doing what we do, the fact that you guys appreciate it that much however has overwhelmed us :) So we'd both like to send out a big thank you to everybody. The biggest buzz when it comes to writing tunes originates from you ravers, seeing you go mad to the music you love inspires us to do this, no other scene has the same energy, you guys are truly 'hardcore' because you can go crackers start to finish, so mega big up!For anyone who is thinking of posting up and using the old 'well its all Gammer, he should have got the award himself' thing, its not like that!

We both happily work as a team :) Whilst I enjoy coming up with blip squeaks and funky town noises, Dougal tends to have the vision which pieces the ideas together. Over the last couple of years we've spent 5-6 days a week solid in the studio just making sure the mixdowns are as strong as they can be, to be honest it tends to do my nut in at times but its not all that bad

I am absolutely touched by this :D Again thank you very much guys for voting for this tune, whilst its been a favourite in my set I never imagined it for song of the year, not by a longshot
The original holds alot of meaning for me, it was more of a track written for myself which after getting some support from a certain top mc (love ya whizzkid ;) found its way into my sets, shortly before recieving some vocal treatment from the lovely Cat

Oh My Word!

When Styles came over and told me that I came second place in the best DJ category I was over the moon!
I mean, i've had alot of fun with my sets this year, putting together special remixes and bootlegs and stuff purely for fun, but I never thought in a million years id get anywhere near that!
So thank you again to everyone who voted for that, I know I didnt win, and to be honest, im not bothered! If I didnt come top 3 in a single category next year, I wouldnt be sad, because I am so touched that this year you guys have all enjoyed everything that dougal and myself have been doing
I've also got to put a big shout forward to my mc friend, Whizzkid, we've both had lots of fun performing with each and you've been a real good friend to me since coming into this scene as a wee nipper
Also big up to stormio who often gives me brutal but constructive criticism (and congrats on your 5th year mate :) ) and dougal, hixxy, styles, mum, nat, jbc, hana, jen and jon and everyone else who has shown me support and generally been up for getting pissed and having fun :)

There aren't many producers in this game that have had the same as the one like Gammer over the few years. Still hovering around his early twenties, the eccentric young music maker has risen from his early days crafting anthems for raver's favourites' Raverbaby and Essential Platinum to show a versatility that so many strive for but so few ever acheive.

DJ Gammers bouncy anthems have appeared on Quosh, ravey stompers on Maximum Impact, uplifting freeform on Relentless to his forthcoming gabba material and even hard dance, the producer known to his postman as Matt Lee has stamped his individuality on every sub-strain of the modern hardcore scene, whilst always uncovering a fresh, innovative slant in the process. And as if that wasn't enough he's also established himself as one of the most exciting DJ's on the circuit to boot.
