What have you been upto since you last played for us at Polysexual?
All sorts, I’ve been engineering a lot for other djs and producers, playing a variety of gigs, and getting involved in some other genres.

The Tidy-Sexual events are always a bit special, will you be sticking around for the evening, if so who are you looking forward to catching?
Indeed they are, I will be staying the duration, and I think I’ll be making a special effort to see Rodi play, as he always amazes me with the things he does on them CDJs!

You have been doing a lot of work under your own name in recent times, how does the Guy Mearns sound differ from the Guyver sound we are more familiar with?
Yeah, that’s right, my work under my real name is trance/tech trance, I have a few different names, because if I did everything under “Guyver” it would get very confusing. I’m also doing some tech house under the name “Antonio Menez”, so look out for that name, aswell.

Do you have any releases coming out in the near future you’d like to plug?
Look out for forthcoming Guyver releases on Tidy, a collaboration with Neal Thomas has just been signed up called “The Hacker”. I’ve also got a collaboration with Lee Haslam on Slinky Music coming up called “Crunch” which will be under the “Haslam & Mearns” guise, and it is tech trance.

Who’s your favourite member of Girls Aloud?
It changes depending on my mood, but at the moment, Sarah Harding.

Who do you think would win in a fight between Kym and Maddox?
Maddox, they don’t call him “Mad Dog” for no reason!

Which of the following 3 women would you snog, marry or shag. Pat Butcher, Heather Mills, Karry Katona
I’d marry Heather Mills just for the money, snog Pat Butcher (because it’s worth the money I’d get from marrying Heather Mills) and shag Kerry Katona.

Tell us the most embarrassing moment of your life?
I’m not sure I’ve ever had one, I’m quite a cautious person naturally, unless I’ve just blanked out any painful memories! I could tell you about my friend who was sleep walking naked at one of the tidy weekenders, but it would be a bit mean to say his name!
