So that what you call 2005
Well it the end of another year. And really the only way you can see it out is with Hed Kandi. You know the music and production will be top rate, and no one at Bambu was dissapointed.

When we arrived at 9:40 there was already a fifty strong queue waiting to get in. Yes i know it NYE and all that, but trust me that is VERY good for birmingham, Esspecially as this party is an all ticket affair.

So we get inside and see that fully Hed Kandi production, even with 15 parties going on around the globe. I was feeling a spot nostalgic at this point, see the queue out side and the first impression of Bambu all dressed up, reminded me of the first time i came to a Hed Kandi night here over 2 years ago. (ahhhh memories)

So the music begins, a perfect start to the evenings entertainment with a spot of soulful (sushi-esk) tuneage growing into what DJ Savvas Fellas does best. He really does know how to turn the key when needed. We will ignore the technical issues of the night (fire alarm sound trip out for 5 mins and a dodgey CDJ). They never made any difference to the night, the crowd responded when needed and there was plenty of arms in the air moments.

So midnight comes around and Sav puts on the Bongs. 3.2.1 HAPPY NEW YEAR. To very loud explosions later (They were meant to happen), everyone does the traditional Kiss and shakehand routine, and DJ Savva Fellas drops Basement Jaxx - Do Your Thing. The crowd go bananas, the perfect way to strat the new year.

The flow is now kept going, with top selction of New and Classic funky tuneage. Hats of to Sav for a top night of music.

Now i would like to say i enjoy the rest of the night at Bambu. Unfortunatly i have to leave with Sav to drive him up to Mode in Nottingham for another Hed KAndi party, so we had to leave at 1 o'clock on the dot. It was a shame because i would have loved to have stayed to see Hed Kandi new girl Miss Kelly Marie. I heard good things though from my girlfreind and other mates i had to leave behind at Bambu.

Here is to 2006, and i hope it brings alot of fun for us all.

Apart from the technical difficulties, which threw me off a tad i thought this was a great turn out. The clubbers spirits were high all night. The crowd were responsive and a great buncj. It was good to see those regular faces amongst everyone on the floor.

A unforgetable New Year.

Here's to another great year.

Thanks,
Savvas Fellas
