Fuel vs Hed Kandi 4/11/05
Well, what can you say? The funky house flowed all night and happy hed kandi people bounced. The usual assortment of beautiful people and stompin choones had us all shakin our tushes until the early hours.

Bambu looked great as always and there was a great live performance of "All Rise" from the chap in the hat (see my gallery).

Fuel (as usual) took a little while to warm up but is always good for those who like their house a little more dirty.

Gotta say hi to the "sophies" and to anyone who couldn't make it - see you next month!

Would have to agree with that. Bambu was rammed at the start but once people started making there way up stairs it was much better. a great nigh as usal. Roll on the next one.

Friday was yet another great night. I almost lost my faith in the Birmingham scene but now it seems to have gone from strength to strength.

Absolutley rammed to the rafters, a lot of moody girls too, blokes were alright though.

I have to say that although i did moan about the prospect of Peyton singing his 'Rise' song it was a really good live performance.

Not sure about coming to the next one - we'll see if Sav wears his whale belt first :O)

Yeah - my yard too... I actually prefer it when Fuel moves into Hidden with HK doing its usual sardine tin impression in Bambu. Hidden is a really nicely set out club. Such a shame that Promise decided to move over to Broad Street (how wrong - on so many levels!)

For those who dont understand - Fuel is usually in Bambu now but they open the doors between Hidden and Bambu and move Fuel into Hidden. Folks can wander between the two venues..... "superclub"

I like the fact that its opened up because iv'e started to get bored of bambu.

The fact that it was opened up though made no difference with the amount of people in there.
