Picture this: An Elf DJing, a snowman throwing some shapes on the dance floor, father christmas handing out presents and the above blowup doll being passed around amongst friends... Yes this was the launch of SMUT....

This is one of the best nights I've ever had the pleasure of running... We had soooo much competition against us like Miss Money Pennies, Switch, If + loadza other nights including the sell out at GK on Saturday. BUT we succeeded, we had around 250 people in and they were all loving it, every tune that came on the people were just throwing their hands up in the air and shocking out... And then came MICKY SLIM, he literally played one tune and the whole place went off, nasty wonky basslines got everyone into a moody house frenzy. At one point the whole room filled with smoke, and all you could see was heads and hands under a thick cloud of smoke and lights just beaming over the top of them... Then from the smoke came a snowman (me), who was off his fooking tree dancing like a right bastard, it was hot in there lemme tell ya but I love it, felt like a minor celebrity, everyone wanted a pic...

I can honestly say we succeeded in what we expected from this night, we just had fun, it was origional and crazy, the people were wicked. Everyone in there was there for the music, and boy wasn't the music SICK....

We're definatly looking at running a monthly thing but we're just looking at dates and stuff, Also we've got our hands on a warehouse so that will be some thing to look 4ward to in the new year, but we've deffo got Sunday 27th May booked for a bank holiday special with International Headline DJ's TBC so watch this space.

Anyways peeps, on behalf of all the SMUT team, I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all that attended and I hope you had as much fun as we did... DR x
