Yes it's still going, but no longer at the skatepark.

Next event is 15th December at The Rainbow Warehouse, Digbeth. Bigger and better than the skatepark!

There hasn't been a proper E:Volve event since 21/4/07. There was some pretty trancy stuff at that one. They've hosted rooms at other events since then, but I don't think psytrance would have gone down well at those events. This is the first E:volve at the new venue, and will hopefully become a regular event no the venue's sorted.

Thanks AAA, E:volve in the main room is mainly hard dance, hard nrg, acid techno then there are a couple of other rooms playing house, electro and breaks.

In answer to your question I dont think anyone does any psy trance in birmingham.

Yes I am sure we will sometime. The thing with psy trance is generally they only play psy trance at psy trance events. There are not many psy trance events but when they are on people travel from miles away to get to them. They always have loads of mad UV decor too. One of the things I love about E:volve is the contrast between the different musical styles, which makes each one stand out better. It also gives us the opportunity to listen to things we wouldn't normally hear. I like being taken on a musical journey from the gentle start of the night through the dark stuff to the high energy climax.

Yes have most of the flyers on www.clubevolve.net we are having a new website done at the moment so that one is out of date with events and stuff. There are also DJ mixes to download on there too by our resident DJ's.
