The clocks haven't even changed yet and we're still clinging on to the last remnants of summer. But the nights are unmistakably drawing in, and that time of year means one thing to us at Slammin'... New Year's Eve is marching steadily closer.

If you haven't heard, we do the NEC at New Year's Eve. No-one does that. No-one else can do that.

The NEC - newly titled the LG Arena & Halls - is one the biggest and best known venues in the whole of the UK, situated on the outskirts of England's second City, Birmingham, slap bang in the middle of the country.

We do the NEC once a year. That keeps it special - unique, in fact. It's true to say that there is nothing else even remotely close to this on the clubbing calendar. If you want to do New Year's Eve, and you want to do it properly there's only one place to be seen.

And we know what we're doing. This our fifth year there so we've got it down to a fine art. You don't want to risk a let-down on the biggest going-out night of the year. Now inside the brand-new and vast LG Forum, One Nation team up with Birmingham’s finest Drum & Bass outfit – the mighty Raveology!

The national dons versus the local heroes, it’s going to be a big one! Raveology’s finest residents go head to head with the biggest DJ’s and MC’s in the game, and just watch out for Andy C’s midnight set, it’s going to be dangerous.

The LG Forum has a 4000 capacity, plus a balcony and its own smoking garden, easily making this the biggest and best D&B event on in the country tonight. And with no sound restrictions, the Funktion One sound system can be turned up to 11 on the scale – perfect!

With its own loyal following of fans, how could we forget about this arena? Way too dark, hard and fast for the average raver, this is the place to come if you want it completely off the scale. Anything can and does happen within these 4 walls, so if you’re of a nervous disposition, you might want to avoid it altogether and sit down with a nice cup of tea!

If, on the other hand, you can handle it, make sure you’re there for Midnight when legends Scorpio & Producer go back 2 back and see in the New Year.
