Saturday July 1st @ Red Bar & Lounge, 9pm - Late

This month residents Gary Ward & Charles John welcome Adam Turner

Adam Turner is a name known around town for good quality soulful, vocal and deep house grooves. A DJ for 10 years now, he’s built a good reputation for playing nothing but quality house music, both brand new and classic. Places/events played by Adam include Soul Heaven tours at Moneypennys, opening for both Louie Vega & Kenny Dope of the Masters at Work, Def Mix at the same venue before the legendary Frankie Knuckles, Soul Vision nights at HQ, and Fuel alongside Goldroom host and Soul Central producer Andy Ward. Added to this are residencies/appearances at top venues such as the then Ministry of Sound Bar, The Canal Club, The Light Bar, On Hubert Street and Zinc.

Adam is also a member of local collective “Movementz”, alongside fellow members Leighton Ashcroft, Jamie Love, Kayum Abdul and Timmy Vegas. The collective is all about good music, and the guys have made a positive start in production too, with one of their first tracks “29 Calls” being signed to legendary German label “Sonar Kollektiv”. Another track “Cramping My Style” is picking up plays from respected names. Adam is definitely someone you need to hear, and he won’t disappoint.
