My first visit to the Red Bar & Lounge, and first time I’ve stepped out to hear this type of house music in a long time, (Soulful House, Deep House, US House, US Garage, Funk, Disco, Soul and Rare Groove).

Warm happy friendly rhythmic vibes, respect, unison, talented DJ’s, soulful jazz house, packed dance floor, responsive crowd, proper B'ham mix up, select in way I can't put my finger on, varied age group, excellent bar staff.

What a fantastic little night. So good, why isn’t it bigger? (As in the venue?)
However it’s not as if we weren’t warned, ‘limited capacity venue, we strongly advise you to arrive early to avoid disappointment.’

So despite feeling like a sardine in a can and having to nip outside for some fresh air now and again, my friends and I stayed till early morning as it was a really good night.

Definately worth a return visit or two!
