Birmingham is crying out for a new venue.

It's time to party outside this summer.

THE BEACH

This venue has oodles of character with 40 tonnes of sand stretching underneath a railway arch to create a unique feel. There are tropical trees, hammocks and huts a function one soundsystem and ample toilets. It's greatest feature is a retractable roof..you just cant trust British weather so if it's raining your not getting wet.

This doesnt feel like Birmingham.

((back is a new night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the UK house music scene. The scene exploded during the 1988 summer of love, changing a small underground sound into a global movement. Along the way, there has been some memorable tracks, events, djs, and venues. We are not here to argue about who, where, or when the first house records were produced and played. We are here to embrace a cultural movement and bring together creative and like minded people to celebrate this milestone.

((back is open to EVERYBODY who has and continues to contribute to the scene in some shape or form: DJ's, producers, promoters, dancers, acts, artists music lovers and most of all the clubbers and the party people, without them none of this would have been possible.

For fifteen weeks this summer ((back is taking over Birmingham's hottest space THE BEACH. 40 tonnes of sand, tropical trees and cover from the rain. There will be a bbq, drinks offers, cocktails, ice creams, and musical treats from the last 20 years. The location of the beach will remain a secret until a week before it's opening party June 13th. The closing party is September 19th.

Come together in the spirit of 88 and celebrate the past and future of house music. This year has GREAT musical significance so for 15 weeks this summer lets celebrate and take pride in the culture, friendships and good times we have collectively helped create worldwide.
