Once again Retroforward delivers another superb party. Just when you need to escape from the family at Christmas along comes an allnighter at a wicked venue with great djs for only a fiver!

Keeping it hot in the front room was the funk of Jonno (Rootys), the disco sounds of Rob J (BamBam), some house from Jem Aitkins and a whole host of other djs whose names escape me. You can guarantee that the dancefloor in the bar room is going to be full of lovely ladies and this party didn't disappoint.

The backroom played host to some deeper and more twisted house grooves with Slackers Delight (Softly), Al Mackenzie, Paul Thomas (Godskitchen) and again a selection of other djs dishing out the house to the throng of bodies that were dancing in the darkness.

Although it was on until 8am; I bailed out at 4am and was happy to see people queuing to get in after they had left other clubs in the city. I've been reliably informed that the party continued to get better (this is in no way a response to me leaving!!) and the crowd got messier.

Here's to next year!
