All joking aside that's how most (amateur) DJs seem to work.

"Mate can you turn the system up?"

"Erm if you turn the levels on the mixer down it will actually get louder - It's called a compressor/limiter"

I'm lovin that sticker. I plan to copy that on our mixers. Genius.
