CALVIN HARRIS EVENT ADDITIONAL ACTS ADDED TO LINE UP & TICKET PRICE REDUCED
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CALVIN HARRIS @ THE FACTORY
As you may be aware due to losing luggage and his laptop at the already infamous “Heathrow Terminal Five”, Calvin Harris has unfortunately decided to cancel his next three UK gigs. This has been totally out of Streetlife (Promoter) and the Custard Factory’s (Venue) control and everyone involved in the promotion of this event is obviously disappointed because this event has been very heavily promoted..……but please be assured that this event and its ridiculously large Dj / Artist line up is still set to be very very busy indeed.
Mr. Harris will be rescheduling a date with the Custard Factory for later in 2008 and a full statement can be found at www.calvinharris.tv. However, the line up for this show is still very impressive indeed, and ‘Streetlife’ have even taken it on to themselves to add another high profile artist to an already stacked out line up. Stonebridge (www.stoneyboy.com) has been added to the line up setting the scene for one of the biggest club shows the Custard Factory has ever seen.
In fact in reality we have already got SIX massive headline DJs plus a whole host of support acts, encompassing all that is good in House, Breakbeat, Electro and Mash-up electronic music.
Herve, Seb Fontaine, Ralph Lawson & Stonebridge, all on the same bill is pretty awesome by anyone’s standards. Add to that The Young Punx LIVE, The Drummatic Twins, Ultra+ DJs, Ben Nott, Get Carter & Tanner Jarvis & Deuce Soundsystem residents Mogs & Tomas Rubeck, plus one of Birmingham’s favourite DJ double acts – Nono, and you can safely say “We’ve got a show on our hands”.
Due to the Calvin cancellation the decision has been made to not drain the pool. We will however still be using the back of the poolside area which will play host to The Drumattic Twins & Stonebridge, and a Young Punx Dj set.
These various changes of circumstances have enabled us to dramatically reduce the advanced ticket price from £20 down to £15.
We are still shutting down the street to showcase some of ‘Streetlifes’ famous modified cars. Also in the street shutdown will be entertainers and information on the Streetlife modified car show which is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on 5th / 6th July. Information on the Streetlife modified car show can be found at www.streetlifeshow.co.uk and tickets for the NEC show (Not the Custard Factory club show) can be obtained at www.theticketfactory.com
This means that anyone still wishing to purchase a ticket for the Club show had better do so fast. Add to that the fact that the price has been reduced it’s clear that these tickets are now hot property. Entrance will also still be available on the door unless we sell out prior to Saturday 12th April.
