When JNRssentiual decided to grow up, there really was only one obvious headliner. A lad who has literally grown up within the Birmingham dance scene and come on leaps and bounds musically along the, from producing of his own tracks and remixes, to engineering for everyone from up and coming DJ's/producers to A-list names, managing and running his own recordlabels and now even formulating his own 100% LIVE show. RIGGSY is a performer and musician who really needed no introduction? But he get's one anyway! Here's a brief history of the one of the most prolific producers the scene's history.

On the hard dance scene, Riggsy is a house hold name. With tracks on no less than 6 Tidy albums, the last 2 Flashpoint albums, the last 2Toolbox albums and vinyl releases literally here there and everywhere. But it doesn't stop there ? he's the label manager of Xtension Records and co owner of Nil By Mouth Records, with partner in crime Michael James. Between the 2 labels, the releases have been hanging around in the top 10 on most major hard dance record stores charts for the last couple of years. As well as radio play from Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1 , his productions have recently been getting hammered on dance floors worldwide by Amber D, Andy Farley , Justin Bourne , Karim , Paul Glazby , Lisa Pin Up andNick Denton to mention a few.

NOW Riggsy has stepped up his game, with a 100% LIVE performance without the aid of a laptops or computers ? he's gone old school and uses guitars, keyboards, drum machines, synths and effects units and performs a combination of original tracks and re-engineered bootlegs to whipcrowds into a frenzy. This fresh, eclectic, stomping, but yet uplifting mash up of hard nrg,trance, metal and electro amongst other things is for sure a spectaclenot to be missed! It all began for Riggsy at a small club in Birmingham Sputniks in 1999,when he was playing trance. This is where he gained his confidence as a DJ, and was soon playing in clubs such as Sundissential and Hard House Heaven . He now plays regularly all over the country, and will headlining set the Dance Tent at this years Bull Dog Bash (Think Global Gathering, forBikers) at Long Marston Airfield and has been taking his skillsworldwide playing at events in Canada , Poland , various nights inIreland and has a Tour of New Zealand and Australia planned for earlynext year!
