Break Thru welcomes the back the Braziliant DJ Marky this Easter for a very special event…Marky & Friends…in the Marquee!

Marky is renowned for his energetic but soulful performances worldwide, he combines mesmerizing dextral skills and his wide musical influences to create an amazing mix of Latin magic, dance floor destruction at break neck speed!
Those of you who have been lucky enough to see the Break Thru favorite before and witness him scratching the decks in the air ala Jimi Hendrix will know why he’s heralded as one of the best djs in the world of electronic music, but if you haven’t, then trust us – he’s not to be missed!

The concept behind Marky & Friends is simple; it show cases the djs who get all important seal of Marky approval – simply put they are the best if the best.

“Friends” on the night include Calibre, Commix, Marcus Intalex, A.I, Lynx, with a live PA from Ben Westbeech who’s 2007 anthem “Shame” was released on Marky’s own Innerground records. Ben joined on by vocalists DRS, Dynamite MC from Roni Size’s Reprazent and Stamina MC whose track LK with Marky graced the UK charts.

The Skooling host the Factory Club for a lesson in Jungle Techno with special performances from Micky Finn & local legend Bassman, Kenny Ken and a showcase of DJ Randall’s of highly anticipated JTEK project which takes the tempo and influences of the 92/93 era into 2008.

Cooking up the dubstep in the Kitchen and hot off the back of their massive Magnetic Man event earlier this month, Bham’s Dubstep pioneers Eardrum host the Kitchen with special guest Hatcha from Tempa Records and Rinse FM.

Good Friday’s event is set to be the biggest and best Marky & Friends to date. Taking place in the unique atmosphere of the Custard Factory Marquee with other 30 guests it’s set to be another legendary night for Birmingham dance music.

The nite was ok not worth 20 quid, the pool wasn't drained and to be honest i had a good night but seemed a bit of a shambles
