Bestival Reunion Tour 2008

Eclectricity & Bigger Than Barry join forces and welcome the Birmingham date of the national BESTIVAL REUNION TOUR.
Featuring a floating cast of marvellous mavericks that includes DAN LE SAC VS SCROOBIUS PIP, DJ YODA, THE CUBAN BROTHERS, TODDLA T and of course the man himself ROB DA BANK….. The Birmingham reunion party will be the distilled essence of Bestival’s magical, eye catching spirit.
If you’ve ever been to Bestival, especially this years event on the Isle of Wight, then you’ll already know that Bestival possesses a very special kind of magic, powerful enough to turn even the muddiest bog into a bona fide party zone where crackpot high-jinx and the most amazing music around are the dishes of the day and fun is always on top of the menu.. Well following the success of Bestival Rob Da Bank has put together another rip roaring recipe of sumptuous acts to sprinkle some rain-free, indoor Bestival vibes across the country as they travel from city to city.
The iconic Custard Factory complex will be the scene for the Birmingham event on Saturday 15th November which sees the closure of Gibb Street to incorporate the Old Library space which is stunning 17th Century listed building normally only reserved for wedding receptions and high calibre events! However, we have worked our magic and persuaded the powers that be so we can all bask in the glory of this totally unique space!
The Factory Club, Kitchen and loads of other interesting and inspiring spaces will also be in full swing! We will create a miniature festival vibe with loads of activities on Gibb Street such as food stalls, 3 rooms of music and loads of other special treats in store.
Rob Da Bank states: We’re very excited to announce the Bestival Reunion tour. It’s been an amazing summer with the launch of Camp Bestival and our fifth year with Bestival itself. We really want people in the regions to experience a slice of Bestival magic, and whilst this is intimate and indoors, I’ve personally selected all of the acts and, yes, I’m DJing on every single date! See you on the road.”
