I must admit we didnt stay for a great length of time! About 45 mins! lol. Was really looking forward to this one, the birthdays have always been awesome & one of the highlights of the year for me & my stomping buddies. But gone r the days of bouncing off the walls in its true home back at the sanctuary in a sea of red & yellow! Wheres all the happiness & randomness gone? I have to say we wern't very impressed by the venue. After expecting the night 2 be as good as the classics night held @ the q club in May, which was just like the good old sunnis i remember. We were left wondering around for ages trying to find the main hard house arena! When it eventually materialized it was about the size of our living room @ home & tuneage seemed to have seriously crossed over into the darkside! No bouncy happy beats but dark sinister millitary type stuff. However the most amuseing part of the night was seeing madders demoted to his new role supervising the coates in the cloakroom lol! We did try & give it a chance having travelled all the way 2 brum, but couldn't bear it any longer so decided to cut our losses & do the unthinkerble & brave a cheesy towny club in full cyber haha! So to sum it up we were sad 2 the end of hard house as we know it. Sundissential R.I.P u will be missed

I agree that it wasnt the best night ive ever been to, actually far off the mark but with the help of a litle pick me up i had a wicked night, but i still left earlier than expected maybe coz i was wrecked

Totally agree NEVER AGAIN doing a sunnies night, pay on on door was £25 (yess jesus) had £30 and they said they couldnt give me change i mean WTF??
This is a charity event and believed that all the money including door tax goes to charity not people walking around with stupid buckets also heard they didnt pay most of the artists onthe night.

Staying in all weekend at my mothers house paid off then.... i just fuckin knew this event would be errrrrrm..... SHIT!

Two reason why I chose to go on sat, 1 becuase most of my close mateswere going and 2 to see Steve Thomas play.....I turned up and paid £25, a little steep but OK fine. I was then fucked right off to find out steve was not playing.

So on that point allown I shall be making a formal complaint and demanding my money back and contacting the correct authorities.

I thought there was a hell of a lot of good elements about the night. Sheton and Craig did a good job in the main room, Tony de Leon, Col the medik and kye shand were also very good. I was also very impressed to see john vyes mixing vinyl on a shite set up in the juniors room along with a few other DJ's.

I think that Hardcore shouldnt of been there as its a very different crowd.

I also think that there was a lot bad about the night. one huge complaint of mine is that not one Dj was booked to paly a TDV/Trade set. There were plenty of DJ's who could of done this, to say it was a TDV night it should of been done.

Overall i give the night 6/10.

I dont know where you was mate. Early on yeas it seemed pretty empty but people were arriving thick and fast. We got at 9.45 ish and other mate turned up at 10.45 and by midnight outside, mian and juniors was pretty full and banging.....I would say it should of been a sunnis bouce night as there was not much original TDV/Trade stuff being played but I think all DJ's booked in the main room did a great job.

It was on DSI aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago that Steve Thomas wasn't playing, and it's on DSI after every Sunnies that DJs haven't been paid and clubbers have been ripped off. Spread the word so this doesn't happen again.
