Hi all,

This is an apology for anyone that came to see me play last night.
I travelled from Middlesbrough to Birmingham yesterday and was looking forward to an amazing set. I had only one worry, payment. As I've dealt with Madders before, I knew it would be hard to get payed after my set as he usually takes the money, runs and finds the nearest crack den.
My management, Barry from Goodgreef/PFA, told me that Madders wasn't dealing with the money and that I was to get payed before I got on the decks. I foolishly believed that Madders would come through this time, he did it to me last year and was very lucky to get another DJ from PFA.
Both myself and the Organ Donors were under the same premise.

Now, being the dirty little scumbag he is. He has done the same. Sundissential has tarnished it's once great name by allowing a slug to run things. Equipment wasn't payed for, Door staff wasn't payed for, DJ's were not payed for. I travelled over 4 hours, the donors travelled from Bournemouth and Jason P travelled from Swansea, we all left.

The only thing left to say is RIP Sundissential and rest in pieces Madders.
You fucking slime-ball. You'd better stay the fuck away from me.

Clubbing isn't the same as it used to be that's why i don't bother going out these days.....the whole scene is not what it used to be like.....:O(

I myself was horrified when i turned up at the Venue last night @ 7:30 to find the 'main' room in a pathetic little side room with some half baked set up, tables for the dj to stand on and play, arching your back at 90 degrees cant be good for an hour and a a half.

Equipment was not set up, sound engineer had only just turned up and was more concerned with wandering around aimlessly chatting to people rather than having this all done, sound checked and ready to go by midday on Saturday... no it was only at 8:15 when the lights went up in the 'main' room and they started to set up the dj equipment at about 8:45, no sound check, no limitation set just striaght in to music @ about 9:30 (half an hour behind schedule - surprise surprise)

Then as people were loitering around, not knowing what do do i was instructed to go with the sound engineer and fetch a huge fuck off table to put in the main room and also to lug 2 bass bins up 2 flights of stairs along with 2 top speakers (bearing in mind this was 8:45 and the event was supposed to open at 9) to put in the juniorssential room which was bare, had no lighting and was about as big as the Toilets in the club, it was ridiculous.

Once the system was wired up, there was just tops plugged in and the bass bins were just acting as speaker stands for the tops.

I had a long hard think about things and after learning that I too was not getting paid i decided to go home.

Put the whole night into perspective, this was supposed to be the LAST EVER TdV memorial, n my opinion the venue was piss poor, the 'main' room was an absolute insult to what should have been a spectacle of Hard House Music over the last 10-15 years, not to mention the total disregard for providing an 'appropriate' line up as i think the statement rubbish or poor to decribe the line up would not be justified as there were some top notch dj's on the line up.

If i'd have known Tony De Vit personally i would have been horrified & upset at how this event was set up and run....

I can't imagine how Tony's Dad must have felt having endorsed this

Yeah but you will bear the brunt of people's anger mate, seeing as how Madders isn't on here. You'll be associated with this farce for a lot longer if you stick with the Sundissential part of your name, in my opinion anyway.

i was 2 young to of known about the 'old' sunni days, but it seems by peoples opinions that its died and will never be the same again!

Yeh hardcore was in the factory - 'main' room was next door to it - half the room used aswell so it barely held 100 people!

To be honest, i couldnt see where a main room would have been put unless u were using the main foyer - i was totally bemused by the choice of venue for what should have been a piece of Hard House History
