Whats happened to the old sunnis?
I must admit we didnt stay for a great length of time! About 45 mins! lol. Was really looking forward to this one, the birthdays have always been awesome & one of the highlights of the year for me & my stomping buddies. But gone r the days of bouncing off the walls in its true home back at the sanctuary in a sea of red & yellow! Wheres all the happiness & randomness gone? I have to say we wern't very impressed by the venue. After expecting the night 2 be as good as the classics night held @ the q club in May, which was just like the good old sunnis i remember. We were left wondering around for ages trying to find the main hard house arena! When it eventually materialized it was about the size of our living room @ home & tuneage seemed to have seriously crossed over into the darkside! No bouncy happy beats but dark sinister millitary type stuff. However the most amuseing part of the night was seeing madders demoted to his new role supervising the coates in the cloakroom lol! We did try & give it a chance having travelled all the way 2 brum, but couldn't bear it any longer so decided to cut our losses & do the unthinkerble & brave a cheesy towny club in full cyber haha! So to sum it up we were sad 2 the end of hard house as we know it. Sundissential R.I.P u will be missed

I agree the sound quality were crap , the rooms were too small the best music were outside but were far too cold, i have done Sunddi senstial since it started and i have never seen a night like that in all my 20 years of clubbing, the set up looked amaeturish and sound distorted not a great venue for hard hose then i guesss they should have had it in the space 2 wharehouse . The hard house scene is well and truly dying i look back over the years the mad first Tidy weekender i whent to gatecrasher all these great nights have not got the appeal of which were back in the days. Shame james Ellis didnt get to perform on a quality decs as his Cd he gave me is truly banging. Big let down, my worst night out ever.

There are plenty of events where hard house is still very much alive, Sunnies died its death a few years back - greedy promotors is what does it to them, which there are a fair few about but are still many events as luke says Twist/Parrallel and Summit as well as many midlands and northern nights such as Storm, B2T, High Oktane, Smashed, Blessed and Xstatic just to name a few. Hard house is far from dead

the above lady knows the score

why people even still entertain the thought of goingto sunnies is beyond me, its been shit for at least 3 years, dont let this shower of shite convince you that there is no scene elsewhere because believe me its still going strong with properly ran nights allover the place, sunnies is all abouyt false advertising, extortionate prices and dogshit promoters. THE END!

There are still a few good brands around. Its time for change. Its time to E:VOLVE

Seemed to empty very early on, was shocked it seemed 5.30am at half 2 / 3am. All in all had worse nights but one of the less exciting sunnies I've attended in 4 years of raving. Love the custard factory its brill but felt that a tiny bit more TLC would've made a huge difference overall
