Eclectricity are proud to welcome Cocoon, Sven Vath's Frankfurt techno brand to the Que Club in Birmingham with an unmissable all-star line up.

Cocoon has built its reputation on the success of their Frankfurt venue, record label and eight sensational summer seasons in Ibiza. Their Monday night parties at Amnesia have attracted an enormous and fiercely loyal following across Europe. Proactively pushing minimal and techno before the bandwagon built momentum their nights attract global appeal and have gained more and more notoriety as time goes on!

Cocoon's first assault on The Ampitheatre of the legendary Que Club includes a mixed main room line up featuring Green Velvet, Matthew Dears Audion Live and former shamen fron man Mr C…..Not to mention our A List headliner, Cocoon’s head honcho SVEN VATH who will be making his first UK appearance of 2008, the first UK date of his Cocoon, Sound of the Eight Season CD Release Tour!

Sven throws himself into every set as if it was his last. Whether he's ripping his shirt off, crowd surfing, or plugging his headphones into the mic socket and ad-libbing over the records, he's a million miles away from the head-down-don't look-at-the-crowd school of DJ's.

As soon as Sven caught wind of legendary Que club reopening he was as excited as we are to bring him back to the Grade 1 listed venue that holds so many special memories….. It has been over 7 years sine he played here and he is itching with excitement to come back!

Room 2, the Chapel will also play host to Spectrum with an stellar line up for the breaks and house heads to keep things diverse and interesting (when we say room 2 this room is 800 capacity on it’s own!). The biggest name in this scene and Spectrum favourites THE STANTON WARRIORS headline this fantastic space alongside SWITCH aka Solid Groove and many more to be added to the bill!

Many of you will no doubt catch Cocoon in Ibiza this year but for UK fans this is a great opportunity to sample the well-documented mayhem and prepare for another season of madness….It goes without saying that it is extremely rare the Sven graces the shores of the UK and it is great anticipation we welcome the techno pioneer to one of the finest and most breathtaking venues the UK has to offer!
