It wasn't an awesome spectacular event? Whaaaatt. Shocking.

What boggles me is that, they could put on another event, and people would still go. :\

lol!
I decided against going a few weeks ago when i read Joey Riots post and didnt like way that the promoters treated the people asking questions within it and after all that text message crap. It seemed very unprofessional! So glad i didnt go now but gutted for all my mateys who spent money on tickets! hopefully you all still had a wicked night! x

The nights what you make it as far as im concerned!

1.If the venue's not great, find a part of it you like.
2.If the dj doesnt turn up, yer its shocking but theres still hardcore playing.
3.If the queues annoy you, bounce around, meet new ravers and deal with it.
4.Telling people not to go wont make the night improve.
5.If your having a crap time. find some friends, have a laugh, take funny photos and make the most of it.

Sorry for the rant but im fucked and ur post annoyed me abit.

Alot of raves for instance HTID have alot of issues on the night, people still go!

HTID is more organised than this was, and whoever is on the lineup is there, and i dont even like HTID events.

You miss the point, why would YOU pay £20 odd, to have fun with friends? You can do that for free. The night is what you make it, to an extent, if everything around you is shit, it would bring most people down, especially those sober. Excuse the rest of us who go to events expecting to hear great sets from the DJ's we travel for, rather than all about the people you are with.

...

1. I don't think alot of the people that are agitated find the venue a problem.
2. A case of more Dj's didn't show/booked in the first place than played.
3. Again Queing wasn't an issue it was the fact it was advertised as 5pm and they didn't have a licence for that time hence people not getting in till 7pm.
4. The fact that there has been so many cock-up's surrounding this night will put people off attending any night these brand's are involved in.
5 . People want what they paid for and seeing as half the act's that were advertised didn't play for many reason's e.g werent booked, DnB arena being cancelled, Dj's not being allowed entry, Entertainment(Oxygen stall, Bouncy castle) not there, I think many raver's have the right to complain don't you?

And sorry but there wasn't just supposed to be Hardcore playing some people paid for ticket's to go and see the DnB arena and the artist's playing in there.

How did that happen if there on the gust list & the promoters are there to see them in if theres a prob?

I met Psychosis and his random mates on Fri at Stay hardcore and i can pretty much guarantee that they did all of those things you have suggested hun and had a top night! I think this is just a review ranther than a rant to help us fellow ravers decide which events to spend our hard earned cash on in future.

Guest list my arse, I know many Dj's who weren't even allowed plus ones

I know tell me about it, but i don't like listening to rumour's and unfortunatly now we wish we had, but we are also glad we didn't spend x amount on travel, drink and entry.
I for one in the future will never ever have anything to do with the main promotor's of this event.

That’s a joke if I wanted to do that I’d go to a local event with up and coming djs and pay £5 entry.

Telling people not to go wont make the night improve.

That’s true but it might save a loads people that go out for the music a lot of money.

If your having a crap time. find some friends, have a laugh, take funny photos and make the most of it.

If I wanted to do that I’d stay in my living room and invite my friends round, not spend about £100 going out.

Its not the fact things didnt go to plan that has made me angry, its the fact that the organisers knew things had gone wrong before people had bought their tickets yet it was all hushed up to get peoples money off them. Raving is supposed to be all about people coming together, not people being taken advantage of.

Exacccctly. You shouldnt be paying to go to shit events, thats not how it goes.
