This New Years Eve Godskitchen will make a remarkable return to their former home, The Sanctuary!! For one night only Godskitchen will embark on an epic journey of time travel, going back in time to relive those fantastic memories of yesteryear in the place where it all began!!
Godskitchen’s reign at the Sanctuary has become almost legendary through out club land coinciding with the amazing boom of the 90’s shaping the dance industry that we all know and love today. Godskitchen moved to the Sanctuary in 1997 and sold out events week in week out until 2000 when they moved to Birmingham super club AIR.
The Sanctuary will always hold a very special place in the hearts of the Godskitchen faithful so for one night only Godskitchen have decided to make an emotional trip down memory lane playing a selection of tracks from 1997 right the way through to the year 2000 all performed by the DJ’s that were used at the time. Headlining in the main arena will be the legendary Tall Paul joined by John Kelly, John of the Pleased, Alistair Whitehead, former Godskitchen resident AJ Gibson with his fellow resident Daniel Soto coming out of retirement to play the show!! The Sanctuary will be completely revamped and restored to its former glory with Godskitchen bringing their own sound system, lighting and on stage entertainers to make this an absolute classic.
GK Promotions Manager Gary Brooks said:
“It is something everyone involved with Godskitchen is excited about. We have come along way since our days at the Sanctuary but its important not to forget where we started. It was an exciting time to be involved in the dance industry and we have very fond memories from the Sanctuary and look forward to recreating another one of our legendary parties there”
Whether you were a part of this exciting era in dance music or whether you are sick and tired of hearing what clubbing used to be like in the “good old days” this is your chance to reminisce or experience first hand where the Godskitchen we all know today has come from.
