I received a call today from the Sanctuary management asking us nicely to retract our statements referring to “Birmingham Politics” or else Sundays event can not go ahead, as they do not wish to be involved in this matter.

Well this event was about you the “RAVERS” so with that in mind we retract our previous statement referring to Birmingham Politics and take one for the team!!!

It is also with regret, I have to inform you all that The Sanctuary will be shutting its doors completely at the end of April. This is so the completion of refurbishment to the Sanctuary can take place at a faster pace.

Just so it’s clear this has nothing to do with resent events, as we knew this could be the case last week.

What has 1 got to do with 2, was there really any need for everyone to start slating Storm, Polys, other brands?

it's not really slating the brands, just using examples of the way lots of large club owners operate and try and get a monopoly of all the DJ's in a city, how is hard house ever gonna stay alive when there is only one venue that you can go and see your favorite DJ's play?

It just shows how much B2T respect the clubbers, throwing a free party in concelation! What have polys done?

and that venue is air, probably my least favourite out of all the birmingam venues..... nuff said lol

Poly's did this a few years back with sindissential, polys used to be rammed every week but started to steadily decline in numbers, same as most the hard house scene. What I don't understand is half the dj's listed aren't ' bounce ' dj's so what's the problem?
